Hotel is located right next to the airport and offers free shuttle services every half an hour. Front desk staff are super nice and accommodating. Shout outs to these ladies! Thanks for such a wonderful stay before flying home.

During our stay at the Ramada Plaza Shanghai Pudong Airport Hotel, my teenage daughter and I were impressed from the start. Quick check-in, comfortable rooms with complimentary snacks and efficient restaurant service made our experience a delight. The highlight was the flight simulator tour with an aviation expert. The hotel location is hard to beat. It’s walking distance to some of the best sites in Guilin and the facilities are in very good condition. The food for breakfast is excellent! The staff were friendly and helpful, although only a portion of the staff speaks English. There were very few Americans or English speakers during my visit. I was fortunate to have a room on the top floor facing the river and got a glimpse of a beautiful sunrise one morning. At night the musicians play by the river so it isn’t the most quiet location but the view is great! One less desirable thing was they hosted a large tour group from Hong Kong on Saturday/Sunday and the group ate early and blocked access to the buffet.

Ok, it’s not the flashiest hotel but there’s a gym, a good breakfast and it’s on the doorstep of the airport. If you’ve been caught in the nightmare of traffic en route to Pudong, it more than pays for itself! Shower was ice cold through the main overhead but handheld warmer.

Overall it was a great stay. Wish the gym machines had been cleaner. Other than that convenient and staff spoke English and were eager to help.

Hotel near the airport with free shuttle bus to and from the terminal. The rooms are very old and in dire need of a renovation. Rooms phone was broken and it took a hour to get a bottle of water sent to the room. Food and service at the restaurant was good though.

Excellent location & friendly staff. Very comfortable beds & bedding. Many facilities for children but difficult to access without Chinese language skills (modest success with translation apps). Tickets are required for the VR Game Centre and every machine was turned off - we needed to ask staff to turn on machines one by one, some were broken. Staff were willing but it became exhausting & we gave up. Food was disappointing: Limited selection, no vegetarian or child options, expensive & low quality.

This hotel is convenient for those who have early flights out of Pudong—a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. The restaurant service and menu offered both Asian and Western dishes. The room we had was spacious and super clean. Overall, it is a perfect hotel.

I used this hotel when it first opened more than twenty years ago and ever since since the start of covid when I did stop coming to China It was pleasnt when I arrived to meet the manageress and although many years had passed by from my last visit we recosaised each other However, I wish they made connecting to the WiFi a bit easier, they have streamlined the shuttle bus too much and cancelled my trip to and from the airport.......defeat it bit when you have to wait 45 minutes from one trip to the next, even the service at breakfast is somewhat essential However, still handy and good.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The food was good. I will choose this hotel to stay for my next trip.
