Jin Jiang Hotel

The hotel staff were very warm and attentive, but the breakfast was quite ordinary, very average. Everything else was great though! The family room was very spacious, and I would definitely stay here again in the future. It's also very close to Xintiandi.

Whenever I'm in Shanghai for a business trip or a layover, I always stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the city center, making it easy to find places to eat and shop. It's also close to Hongqiao Station. For many Shanghainese, this hotel holds a special sentiment, having hosted various world leaders. The overall environment is excellent, with a large lawn and lush greenery perfect for a leisurely stroll. The decor features a charming old Shanghai villa style, and the lobby rivals any five-star hotel. This time, I felt the service had significantly improved. The lobby staff were fantastic; the lobby manager even upgraded my room and arranged an early check-in since I arrived early. Their enthusiasm and thoughtfulness were truly impressive. The breakfast was also upgraded, with new Cantonese dim sum like steamed tripe and spareribs with black bean sauce. I'll definitely be back often and hope they maintain this level of service.

I've stayed at Jinjiang Hotel's South Building before and had a fantastic experience; it's a great old five-star hotel with excellent value for money! The location is especially convenient, right on Huaihai Middle Road. This time, I got a complimentary upgrade to the North Building, which was an even more pleasant surprise. I absolutely love the classic style the hotel has maintained! I'll definitely be back!

The hotel boasts its own garden, pool, and gym. The room's furnishings and decor have a charming vintage feel. The service details were very thoughtful, though the breakfast was relatively simple, with the same options served all three mornings during my stay.
