San Want Hotel Shanghai

The room is absolutely adorable, completely decked out in Wangzai IP. From the lobby and hotel key cards to the towels and slippers, and even the background music at the breakfast buffet, there are so many cute little details. Plus, the room comes with a complimentary snack pack of Wangwang goodies! The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to visit MiHoYo, Guangyao, the Game Museum, and Jiaotong University. It's also close to the subway station, which is a huge plus for getting to the airport and train station. The room itself is very clean and quiet, making it a comfortable stay, especially for families with children.

Finally made it to the Want Want Hotel Shanghai, and it's truly a Want Want universe! The supermarket, cafe, and restaurant downstairs are all Want Want themed. The hotel itself seems to be from the Beijing Olympics era, with that distinct style. The TV looks like it hasn't been updated; the picture quality for watching sports was really poor. However, the bathroom mirror automatically heats up and defogs when you turn on the light, which is a nice touch. Even though I didn't get an upgrade, the lady at the front desk downstairs who helped me use the microwave was very kind. Want Want snack gift bag: The snack pack had plenty to eat, and there were extra drinks.

The location is good, with a subway station right outside, but there aren't many shops or supermarkets nearby. The service was excellent, and they were very welcoming to children. However, the hotel room was quite small, and the facilities were a bit old. As soon as we entered, my child spotted a stain on the bedsheet. Although it was changed promptly, it still left a bit of a psychological impact.

The hotel was clean and cozy. They even thoughtfully provided Wangwang snacks for guests and 'condoms' for couples. Overall, a good experience and worth recommending.

I used to pass by this place for work a lot, back when there weren't so many buildings around and there was a huge green lawn. This was my first time staying here with my child. They had lots of nice little snacks and the breakfast was good too; my kid really enjoyed it. The transportation is convenient, you can get anywhere by subway.

When the front desk sister saw we were two adults and one child, she proactively upgraded our room for free, saying she wanted us to sleep soundly and comfortably. **Hygiene:** I think it was very clean. **Wangwang Snack Pack:** My child loved it! This was my first time in Shanghai, and I had a great impression. Next time I have the chance, I'll definitely stay at Shenwang again. Wishing them more and more prosperity!

Facilities: This is an older hotel; the facilities and hardware are quite dated. Want Want Plush Pendant and Snack Pack: The hotel advertised that during the Chinese New Year, suites would receive a plush pendant and a Want Want snack pack. I checked in on the evening of the first day of ***** New Year, and they didn't give it to me. I proactively asked, and after a feigned look at the computer, they said, 'Oh, your room does come with one...' Seriously? Are they that short on these items? Service: Since I was staying for several days, I called the front desk to ask for toiletries for the entire stay. When the cleaning aunt delivered them, I wasn't in the room, but my two children were. When I returned, I overheard the aunt tell my kids, 'Remember to give these to the other room, otherwise they'll call the front desk again.' ??? What does that mean? I only called the front desk three times in total. On the night of check-in, I called twice, and no one answered. The third call was for the toiletries. Where did 'again' come from? Breakfast: The online promotion is a bit exaggerated. Are all those drink bottles meant to promote products? For several days in a row, there was only O'Pao Fruit Milk, not even Want Want Milk. The breakfast standard is really only on par with budget hotels. Of course, the price wasn't expensive, so I won't complain too much. I usually don't like writing reviews, unless it's exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. This hotel truly made me eager to write one.

The hotel's biggest highlight is its proximity to good dining and other facilities, plus the breakfast offers a rich variety of tasty options. The staff's service attitude is also very good. Overall, it's a great experience.
