The hotel environment is great, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is good too. By the way, there's a noodle shop right across from the hotel that serves an absolutely delicious tomato beef noodle soup. Highly recommend it!

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to Jiaotong University and the subway station. They offer free parking. I always stay at this hotel for business trips, not just because of its great location, but also because of its excellent service! The front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff all provide high-level service. The only downside is that the room layout feels a bit outdated, probably because the hotel is older, and you have to shower standing in the tub. Both breakfast and lunch are plentiful!

The hotel has been open for some years, but the rooms are clean and tidy. It's quite close to Huaihai Road and Wukang Road, and the breakfast offers a good variety. There are also quite a few foreigners staying here!

The hotel's location is super convenient! It's about a 20-minute ride on Metro Line 10 from Shanghai Hongqiao, and once you exit the subway, it's just a few minutes' walk. The cleanliness was great too. The only thing is that the facilities are quite old and have a vintage feel to them.

This is an older hotel. The executive lounge offers self-service across two floors, with a nice ambiance, perfect for drinks. Afternoon tea and happy hour, along with breakfast, are served in the first-floor restaurant. Breakfast is quite good, afternoon tea is a bit simple, and happy hour is a basic buffet, which is okay. The room size is average, but the bathroom is quite small, with a shower over the tub, a very old-fashioned setup. The gym is decent, but the pool is on the smaller side.

The hotel is located at 400 Panyu Road, about 600 meters from the nearest metro station, Jiaotong University, making it a convenient 10-minute walk. It has a connecting passage to the Shanghai Film Art Center (SHO), and together they form the main venue for the Shanghai International Film Festival. The room size is quite small, which is a disadvantage compared to modern chain hotels, even for an established five-star property. The assigned room faced south, directly above the main entrance of SHO, so the lighting and view were probably the best in the hotel. Overall, the facilities are dated; there are no smart devices, the TV only offers limited content with poor picture quality, and screen casting isn't an option. The shower hose is short, making it awkward to use while standing. The cleanliness was not up to par, with dust and stains found on various surfaces, including but not limited to the toilet seat, sink, windowsill, desk, and the tray of the clothes dryer. Disposable items weren't replaced promptly; the tissue box was almost empty after only a few uses, and when I replaced it myself, I found the dispenser itself was filthy inside. The toiletries were fixed to the wall, but the quantities varied, and the body lotion was completely used up. From the moment I entered the hotel until check-in, no one guided me or offered assistance with my luggage, showing a complete lack of service awareness. In summary, the hotel's biggest advantage is the seamless access it provides for attending films at the Shanghai International Film Festival.

The front desk service from Ms. Huang was incredibly patient and friendly. She thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities, services, and the surrounding area, which left a great first impression. This is a more established hotel, and Shanghai dialect is commonly spoken, making communication easy. During my stay, it was film festival season, and many reporters and guests were staying here. The lobby and elevator halls were quite crowded daily. Dining in the first-floor restaurant felt like being an entertainment reporter, constantly witnessing photo ops and gossip. The room was on the smaller side, and the decor and public facilities certainly felt a bit dated, but it was clean and housekeeping was prompt. There was a good selection of pillows. The gym and pool on the 3rd floor, while compact, were well-equipped with everything you need: a power rack, dumbbells, a barbell, yoga mats, foam rollers, treadmills, ellipticals, and a rowing machine – more than sufficient. The restaurant food was just average with limited choices. Breakfast was served until 11 AM on weekends. With afternoon tea, happy hour, and executive lounge benefits, you can essentially cover three meals, offering excellent value for money.
