The room was spacious and bright. It was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including items for children. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful; they proactively offered directions and explained activity procedures, which was very welcoming. Unexpectedly, I experienced a truly magical fairytale stay here, with a design that perfectly harmonizes with Disney's landscape planning. It's a two-story villa with excellent views; opening the window reveals a vast lawn, an expanse of green as far as the eye can see. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious. Although the dishes were exquisite, the variety was extensive, with everything from flavorful Chinese appetizers to outstanding Western desserts. The Chinese New Year decorations have already started, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere. If you arrive early, you can visit the nearby Bicester Village for a relaxing stroll, especially with Shanghai's lovely weather.

Staying at the Melia Shanghai at Hongqiao during my Disney trip far exceeded my expectations – definitely a five-star review! It's just a 10-minute walk to the Disney main gate, and they even have a shuttle service, making getting around super convenient. We opted for a room with a courtyard, which gave it a wonderful resort vibe. The cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding felt great against the skin and had no strange odors, and every corner of the room was spotless. The common areas were also consistently neat and tidy. The hotel offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, with its Shikumen-style architecture blended with Spanish flair, surrounded by lush greenery. Strolling around was incredibly pleasant, and it's very picturesque for photos. The service was a real highlight; the staff were warm and efficient, proactively offering tips for our visit, always ready to help, and attentive throughout our stay. Whether you're traveling with family or as a couple, this is an excellent choice near Disney. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

I bought a hotel voucher in advance and upgraded to a room with a small courtyard. The two-story guesthouse was very quiet and clean. The only issue was that there was no clear warning about not being allowed to fly drones, only a very inconspicuous sign. My child played in the guesthouse's backyard in the morning, and that evening, at 9 PM, both I and my child were asked to 'have tea' with the police. Although they were very polite, it was an unnecessary hassle. I hope they can give a verbal reminder next time. – A loyal guest who has stayed three times in a row.

The hotel is super close to Disneyland, just a 10-minute walk away. The environment is lovely, and the service was excellent; they even upgraded our room without us asking. Something unpleasant happened while we were shopping outside the hotel, and when the hotel found out, they spontaneously gave my child a Disney plush toy, which was a really heartwarming gesture.

Facilities: Well-equipped. Hygiene: Clean and sanitary. Environment: Beautiful surroundings, even closer to Disneyland than the official Toy Story Hotel. Service: Excellent service, the electric shuttle usually arrives very quickly after calling. Highly recommended for your next Disneyland trip.

The hotel's location is excellent, second only to the Disneyland Hotel and the Toy Story Hotel. The front desk upgraded us to a suite, which was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and even had a small courtyard. It was a fantastic stay.
