JI Hotel (Shanghai The Bund Ningbo Road)

Avoid twin bed room which is facing construction opposite. Noise starts from 6am and quite noisy as we stayed at level 3. Convenient location - 5min walk to nanjing east road mrt line 10 exit 6. Do note another 10min walk to line 2 through mrt underpass. But still convenient for us to travel from hotel to airport via line 2 with lift and escalator. Hotel allows food delivery and taobao shopping deliver to hotel lobby at level 2. Small breakfast place at level 7, to take staircase from level 6. Small hairdryer attached in bathroom. Comes with toothbrush, slippers, tea pot set, eye mask, ear plug, shower gel and shampoo.

good location. very friendly front staff. the restaurant is on the 7th floor, you need one floor up by stairs.

It’s clean hotel but elevator just 1 only!!! And too slow For breakfast place not enough site

Superb location: 2 blocks from the bund and 2 blocks from nanjing lu pedestrian street. Metro is also two blocks away. Plenty of bikes outside so you can rent one and bike around the area. This hotel is like a 3-star chain hotel here in China. Simple amenities, simple breakfast. Room was small but when they saw we had kids and tons of things, they upgraded us to a bigger room. People in the front desk are extremely helpful. They have big laundry area guests can use for free. One thing I dislike is their slow elevator--only one serving the entire 6-floor building. I guess they have no choice because their hotel is part of one of the older Shanghai buildings. Most of the time, we use the stairs. Entrance is on the 1st floor Lobby and laundry area are on the 2nd floor Our room was on the 5th floor (no 4th floor in this building) Dining area was 7th floor. This was our last stop in our tour and I received over 40 packages. Their staff was kind enough to help me receive and keep them -- and not a hint of complaint or irritation could be felt from them. I really felt their genuine hospitality.

Location is perfect…just 5mins walk to The Bund…hotel breakfast is good with local popular noodles….everything is just nice with this hotel…hotel staffs are very polite and kind…thumbs up!

The hotel’s location was great! Very near to Nanjing road and the Bund too! The staff was super friendly and very helpful! When they saw we were two people they gave us a bigger room on the 7th floor! The room is simple but the hotel offers everything! We loved that they have a laundry room where u could wash and even iron or steam your clothes! In overall it was a good experience and I would book it again! Ps: the view from the terrace on the 7th floor was not bad at all!
