Meta Tree Hotel, People's Square, City Center In Shanghai

hotel was lovely! might be noisy sometimes but generally people are quiet during sleeping hours. the hotel offers a lot of free water so it’s convenient! staff service is good too :

The accommodation is clean, quiet, safe and very convenient and accessible to all the places our family wanted to visit in Shanghai. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. We would visit again!

I didn’t know that was possible but we got a room with no window. I’m not talking about a view here, just no window ar all. To get to the room we hand to climb over a small wall…😳 that either I didn’t know that was possible. And it’s not really convenient with big suitcases. The tv remote didn’t work and when we complained in the morning before leaving, they asked to come back during the evening. Of course the whole point was to have it fixed while we were not there… as a result, I’m lretty sure nobody has fixed it yet. In our room there was no safe, nowhre to store the clothes: just 4 walls and 1 bed for 3 (apparently it’s quite normal in China). In the end, the only good thing about this horel is the location, as it’s located less than 30 minutes from Nianjing road by foot.

The people were super nice. The room was also nice and very clean. The food was amazing.
