Daochi Garden Hotel

The hotel is very close to Disney and good value. The shuttle bus only runs until 9am. It's out in the countryside so you might get bugs. Stayed for 2 days and the rooms were not cleaned in between.

I recently stayed at this property and unfortunately my experience did not match the expectations set by the photos and description on Trip.com. The images online made the hotel appear modern, inviting, and equipped with several amenities, which was the main reason I chose to book here. However, upon arrival, it was clear that this was not the case. The hotel is located nearly 40 minutes away from most of Shanghai’s main attractions, which made transportation time-consuming and inconvenient. More importantly, the amenities that were advertised were either unusable or simply not present. The pool shown in the listing was actually empty and in a state of decay. The lounge area, which was promoted as a cozy space to relax, did not exist in any meaningful way. There was also a pool table, but it was in such poor condition that it was not useable. The outdoor areas looked neglected, with overgrown weeds and no maintenance. Overall, the property felt abandoned and misrepresented. If the hotel had been accurately described, I would not have chosen to stay here. I hope the management updates their listing so that future travelers can make an informed decision. Until improvements are made, I cannot recommend this hotel.

If you want to be close to Disney, this hotel is the way to go. It’s a small hotel but it does the job. They have free shuttle to Disney- all you need to do is pre book it with the front desk and you are all set. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
