I stay here because I use to stay 1year before. But this time feel the quality of cleanliness a little bit lower. My towel has a big hole.

The service was great, and the environment was lovely. Housekeeping kept the room spotless, and the facilities were excellent. The location is incredibly convenient, with a shopping mall directly opposite for dining and shopping. It's also very close to the subway, with Weining Road Station (Exit 4) just a short walk away, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. Fantastic! 👍 I'll definitely be back!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay here! The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. The room was even more spacious and bright than I had imagined, and the comfortable, clean bedding instantly helped me relax. What truly stood out was the service – every detail was meticulously handled, showing immense care and thoughtfulness. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all my friends! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit; it felt as comfortable and welcoming as home.

The room was spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped. A friendly robot even brings deliveries to your room. The hotel also offers complimentary use of washing machines and dryers. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous, and housekeeping was wonderful, cleaning the room daily. The hotel is conveniently located very close to Metro Line 2, providing excellent transportation options. Bus services are also readily available, making it very convenient to explore attractions.

The room was dirty need to improve. but the location was perfect

This was the first hotel my family and I stayed at during our summer vacation trip to Shanghai and Jiangsu. Considering it was the peak travel season, this hotel offered fantastic value for money (we booked a family room for just over 400 RMB a night). Its location is superb, right by the exit of Weining Road Station on Metro Line 2 – just a short walk to the right. This makes it incredibly convenient for anyone frequently using the subway to get around Shanghai. The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms, in terms of both cleanliness and comfort, were far superior to what you'd find at typical budget chain hotels like Super 8, Home Inn, GreenTree Inn, or Hanting. The hotel itself also felt more upscale when you walked in.

Low ratings exist for a reason – don't ignore them and decide to 'see for yourself,' or you'll likely end up regretting it, as I did. What a disappointment! Firstly, and most unbearable, was the pervasive smoke smell in the room. It seems to be a common issue here, as the hallways also reeked of smoke. Secondly, the room was quite small. The area around the bed and desk felt incredibly cramped, while strangely, the corridor within the room was spacious. The layout made no sense. Thirdly, the lighting was peculiar and inconvenient. The only switches were by the bedside, which meant I couldn't see anything if I got up in the middle of the night. To make matters worse, the light switches were bizarrely labeled with city names like 'New York,' 'London,' and 'Paris' – with no indication of what each one controlled. I had to press them repeatedly to figure it out, which was extremely frustrating. Hands down, the worst hotel I've stayed at in years.

Very recommend hotel. Definitely will choose this hotel next time.

Overall, had a good experience staying in Jinglai•Selection (Weining Road Subway Station). Will  recommend to family and friends.

The only 1 benefit is close to metro. I stay here because i have been stay here last 2 year . But this time i feel the quality of hotel downgrade. Especially the cleanliness. I hope the hotel can improve in future.

Bad checkin service and unfriendly staff. Room was small and no window. Location is good next to metro and close to some good restaurants

business trip, the hotel has a quite good location and easy to go anywhere you want to by MTR.

The hotel is in a perfect location, conveniently near the MRT/subway, making it easy to explore the city. The front office team is young, enthusiastic, and always eager to assist. Despite the language barrier, they effectively use translation tools to ensure smooth communication and provide excellent service. While the room cleanliness could be slightly improved—there was a lingering smoke odor during our stay—it didn’t overshadow the overall positive experience. Great hospitality and a fantastic location!

We loved staying at this hotel. The room was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very close to the metro that took us straight into the city centre, the airport and train station. We would definitely stay again.
