Wassim Hotel (Shanghai World Expo Park West Gaoke Road Subway Station)

Cleanliness: The toilet wasn't very clean, good thing the front desk provided disposable toilet seat covers. The next day, I used the freshly changed towel to wipe my face, and only realized when I went to bed that night that there was a faint, lingering smell of the towel on my face. I really regretted not bringing my own... Amenities: The internet wasn't great, and phone calls over WiFi were practically inaudible.

Had a super satisfying stay! The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and absolutely fantastic. Plus, the breakfast was exceptionally delicious. I'll definitely be back next time.

The room door lock was broken, and there was a decorative window that, when opened, let in a strange odor.

Stayed here for a business trip. The room was great and the service was very professional. My colleague had too much to drink and dropped their phone in a taxi, and the security guard and the young lady on the night shift were incredibly helpful in trying to find it. Their attitude was excellent, thank you for your hard work!

Excellent! The room was spacious, clean, and bright. The front desk lady was also very friendly.

Pros: I booked late, but the hotel was within walking distance of the Mercedes-Benz Arena. It wasn't far to walk back after the show. It wasn't noisy, and the soundproofing was good, or maybe there just weren't many people. On the day of checkout, I came back a bit late, and communicating for a late checkout was smooth; the late service was excellent. Cons: After checking in, I found the previous guest's trash under the sofa hadn't been cleaned. Also, during my stay, room cleaning only involved taking out the trash and cleaning the bathroom; the bed wasn't made. Aside from regular guesthouses, this is the first time I've seen a hotel not make the bed.
