My son and I visited for 5 days and found the Mandarin Oriental Pudong staff and facilities friendly, informed and professional.  It is quite simply a truly excellent example of the group, good value for money and a comfortable and relaxing ambiance.

From the moment we arrived, Mandarin Oriental Shanghai exceeded every expectation and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. The service was flawless. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely thoughtful. They anticipated our needs before we even asked, and they made us feel like honored guests at every turn. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the welcome amenities to the personalized touches that made us feel celebrated as a honeymoon couple. Our room was stunning, with breathtaking views of the city skyline and the Huangpu River. It felt like a private sanctuary, spacious and elegantly designed with every modern comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was filled with small luxuries that reminded us we were staying somewhere extraordinary. Dining was another highlight. Each meal was memorable, with exquisite flavors, impeccable presentation, and service that matched the culinary excellence. Breakfast offered a wide variety of both international and local selections, and dinners were a beautiful mix of romance and artistry. The location was perfect for exploring Shanghai, yet the hotel itself felt like a tranquil escape from the city. We especially enjoyed the spa and pool area, which gave us the chance to relax and recharge between our adventures. Choosing Mandarin Oriental for our honeymoon was the best decision we could have made. It was more than just a stay, it was an experience we’ll cherish forever.
