Hi Inn (Shanghai Xinzha Road Subway Station)

I had a comfortable stay at Hi Inn Xinha Road because everything I needed was already provided. The toiletries and towels were complete, and the air conditioning worked very well, which helped me sleep comfortably. The location was also very convenient since it was close to tourist spots like The Bund, Nanjing Road, and Yu Garden. I only had a small issue on my first night because the portable weighing scale they lent me was faulty, which made me panic a little. Thankfully, the staff helped me the following night by lending me a manual scale that worked perfectly. There is also a bread store right downstairs, and several fruit stores along the hotel area, which was very convenient. The shower was excellent with both hot and cold water working properly, and the towels were changed every day. Overall, it was a perfect stay.

Convenient location, rooms are basic but for the price it's well worth it. Overall no issues. The staff are friendly, they don't speak English so use the translate app but they are more than happy to assist. Only a few mins walk to Xinzha station and around 10 minute walk to People's square subway station. Lots of restaurants around and also convenience stores.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is outstanding it is very close to many popular places, so getting around is easy and convenient. Everything you need is just a short walk or quick ride away. The price is surprisingly affordable for such a strategic location. It offers great value for money, and you truly get more than what you pay for. For budget travelers or anyone looking for a smart choice, this hotel is perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The overall atmosphere made my stay relaxing and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It is definitely worth staying here!

The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very clean, with towels changed everyday. The aircon also works well. The location is fairly good, with an easy 10-15 minute walk from two different metro stations. Check in was easy. However, the reception and hallway area often stunk of cooking / meat and the smell would always come into your room. It is quite an old building so cleanliness isn’t the best, shower screen, bathroom door etc. Holes in the bed sheets too. Not super welcoming. The room window is also left open for ventilation and you cannot close it, so noise from the market street below is heard easily.
