Pullman Shanghai Xuhui

Exceeded my expectations! The hotel lobby has a very high ceiling, which gives it a grand and ceremonial feel, almost as luxurious as a five-star hotel like Shangri-La, making it excellent value for money. The room was also spacious and very quiet, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. The front desk service was excellent as well. I had a cold and a fever, and when it was time to check out, I still needed more rest. They helped me with a late checkout, for which I'm especially grateful to Cookie, Nancy, and Leo at the front desk. It's a hotel with a warm touch, and the views are great too. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Most importantly, the hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Shanghai South Railway Station.

This hotel is super convenient for business trips if you're working around Shanghai South Railway Station. I absolutely loved how soft the bathrobes in the room were. The view from my window was the 'big flying saucer' of the South Station, which looks quite pretty at night. The breakfast was delicious too. I'll definitely be back to stay here again.

I purchased lounge access for this stay, and the offerings were great, as was the service. The entire check-in process was incredibly smooth, and everyone was very welcoming. My biggest impression was made by Front Desk staff Mr. Yin, Mr. Zhao, and General Manager Tan. They even gave me a welcome drink.

The service was meticulous and very professional. It was my first time in Shanghai and I wasn't very familiar with the area, but the staff were very helpful in guiding me. I had a slight wait during check-in because a large group arrived at the same time, but there were drinks available in the lobby. Mr. K at the front desk arranged a high-floor room with a great view for me, and Manager Tan and Brother Zhao were also very enthusiastic with their service.

Traveling to Shanghai this time, my train ticket was to Shanghai South Station. After getting off the train, I searched for the closest hotel to the station, which was Zhongxing. It was a 10-minute walk to the hotel. The staff upgraded my room when possible and even prepared a new product for me. My takeout order was also delivered directly to my room. All the staff at check-in were fantastic, especially Xiao Yin, Xiao Tan, Xiao Zhao, and Xiao Zhu – they were all excellent!

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! The room was cozy, soundproofing was good, and the staff were very professional, making my stay truly enjoyable. Definitely a top rating!

Manager Yin, who helped me check in, was really friendly and even upgraded my room. When I noticed a slight odor in the room after checking in, Manager Tan quickly resolved the issue. After checking out, Old Zhao from the concierge team was very helpful with directions. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! I've already recommended it to my friends.

I booked a deluxe room specifically, avoiding a suite because I thought it would be too large, and the deluxe room had a good view. However, the front desk upgraded me to a suite... turns out the regular rooms were fully booked, and only suites were left. Fine, a suite it is. But both windows in the suite open up to a wall... Is this really what you call a suite view? While the service was good, the room's orientation and windows were really disappointing, and the bathtub drain was quite old.
