Lavande Hotels (Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station National Convention and Exhibition Center)

I stayed here during a typhoon. The roads outside were flooded, but luckily Didi (ride-sharing service) could still get through. Breakfast was so-so; it filled me up but was nothing special. I do want to commend them for serving Bireley's juice. As for everything else, for 200 yuan, it's good value for money. Don't expect too much.

The hotel's location is excellent for commuting; the room has plenty of outlets and stable Wi-Fi, making it quiet and suitable for work. The cleanliness is well-maintained, and check-out was efficient. It's my top choice for business trips.

Very close to the station, I booked this specifically for my mom. It's a great value-for-money hotel with a good breakfast. It's very convenient, perfect for a short stay when passing through, and you won't have to rush for your train the next day.

The hotel service was excellent. Xiao Sang at the front desk was very enthusiastic and thoughtfully provided breakfast vouchers. The service was truly attentive!

This was my first time staying at this brand chain hotel in Shanghai. While the price varied daily, it offered incredible value for money in Shanghai. We were celebrating National Day with two young children, so to save money, I booked a twin room. The front desk staff, seeing that the kids were a bit older, kindly upgraded us to a family room – so thoughtful! They even gave us breakfast vouchers, though the kids slept in, haha! It really warmed my heart in this big city, which isn't always known for its human touch. Tomorrow, the kids are flying back, so I immediately booked another night before we leave. Definitely worth staying here!

The hygiene was absolutely terrible!!! My flight was delayed, so I didn't get there until 4 AM... All I wanted to do was shower and sleep. But the bed looked like it hadn't been changed since the last guest, which was really frustrating... The front desk gave me another room, and while the bed was slightly better, it was still very dirty, with the previous guest's hair on it! I was so exhausted that I just had to make do for one night, sleeping for only 3 hours before checking out. The hygiene was exceptionally poor; everyone should avoid this place!
