Hyatt Regency Shanghai Songjiang

Service: We booked a stay with breakfast included, but when we checked in, the breakfast wasn't registered. The next morning, we were told at the restaurant that we didn't have breakfast. After we reported it to the front desk, they sorted it out. It's not a huge issue, but I hope the hotel can become more proficient in handling these details. Breakfast: It was alright, the mini wontons were tasty. Environment: I had requested a quiet room, but I was assigned a room right next to the elevator. Because the soundproofing isn't great, I was sometimes woken up by noisy children passing by. Otherwise, everything else was fine. Pros: It's close to Wanda Plaza, within walking distance. The small lake view outside the hotel is lovely, great for a walk after breakfast, and the surroundings are beautiful.

The hotel's location is great, making it super convenient to get around. The room was generally clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, especially since they kindly upgraded me to a deluxe lake-view room for free! I honestly recommend this place to anyone visiting Songjiang for business or leisure!

Extended Stay Perks: Free breakfast. Complimentary upgrade to a lake view room (subject to availability). We were upgraded to a lake view king room, and overall, it was a very comfortable stay. Great value for money. Breakfast was clean, hygienic, and offered a good variety. However, I found the cured meat and congee to be a bit too salty. The Five Dragon Lake views were lovely, and it was pleasant for a stroll. The shower had good water pressure and temperature. The TV couldn't screen mirror, and the toilet flush wasn't very powerful.

When I was at the front desk around 11 o'clock, the young man working there was incredibly rude. He spoke to me coldly when I asked questions and didn't even make eye contact once. Young people these days really have such poor manners! The hotel's breakfast was, as always, absolutely terrible. It's arguably the worst among hotels of its kind. I'd strongly recommend against booking breakfast if you stay here.

The hotel service was excellent, and the environment was beautiful. The buffet breakfast offered a great variety and tasted delicious. Selina was incredibly helpful, making it a truly perfect experience.

The room was very spacious, and it was convenient for drying clothes. The staff were also very helpful. The only thing I found a bit confusing was that the bedding felt slightly damp. Why would it be damp on such a high floor? It's sunny every day, so I wondered if it was because of the lake.
