J Hotel Shanghai Tower

Hotel J, beautifully situated in a bustling commercial district, boasts stunning interiors. Eve Xiang's professional introduction greatly enhanced our understanding of both the hotel and Chinese culture. This is a highly recommended hotel experience. The 85th-floor heated pool offers breathtaking panoramic views of Lujiazui, which is absolutely stunning and perfect for photos. The front desk staff were efficient and professional. Being here feels like stepping into a grand palace. It was a perfect stay.

Facilities: Well-equipped and comprehensive. The room didn't have a bath bag, so I didn't bother calling for one. Hygiene: Clean. Service: The service quality is excellent. Although breakfast orders were slow to arrive after ordering, they proactively helped to expedite them. Minibar: A wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages and beers are available.

Fantastic! The world's tallest hotel. My kids absolutely loved it. The room was clean and tidy, and the amenities were of high quality. The staff were warm and polite. Both breakfast and room service were delicious. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. Highly recommend!

My partner and I specifically chose the Auspicious Cloud King Room at J Hotel Shanghai Tower. The high-altitude view truly lived up to expectations, offering a panoramic view of Lujiazui's vibrant nightscape, which was incredibly romantic. The hotel boasts an exclusive executive lounge, and dining at the restaurant offers a 20% discount. What was even more delightful was the small magic show before the dishes were served, adding a lot of fun to the meal, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The only minor drawbacks were that during peak hours, you need to transfer elevators to go up and down, which can be a bit inconvenient. At higher floors, you can occasionally feel a noticeable wind pressure, and some of the observation windows had slight cleaning imperfections. Coupled with the 3 PM check-in policy, the overall value for money isn't outstanding. If these details could be further optimized, the experience would be even more perfect.

The room was quite spacious, about 70 square meters for a single unit. It's in a prime Lujiazui location, on the 87th floor, offering views of the Shanghai World Financial Center. The interior design is beautiful; I particularly loved the ceramics and wall decorations! The staff were also very attentive, considerate, and friendly. However, I personally didn't care for the lighting in the lobby – it was a bit too dim and created a sense of distance.

Ocean at the front desk provided excellent service, and Restaurant 103 was quite interesting. However, it was a bit strange that the hotel didn't provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. After I spoke to the front desk, the attendant brought up two bottles of shampoo and two bottles of body wash... but still no conditioner. It was quite frustrating. I had originally planned to stay for several more days, but because of this, I moved to the W across the street the next day.
