Madison Hotel Shanghai Wild Animal Park

Extremely close to the wildlife park, delicious breakfast, and excellent service from Xiaoyuer.

The room was very clean and well-equipped. The air was fresh, and the hotel surroundings were beautiful. It's about a 500-meter walk to Shanghai Wild Animal Park if you turn right out of the hotel. Plus, the hotel offers a shuttle service to the subway station after 10:30 AM, which is super convenient. My child loved it, highly recommended!

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to Shanghai Wild Animal Park! After a tiring day, it's super convenient to just walk back to the hotel, saving so much time and effort. The room was clean and comfortable, and the green view outside the window was really relaxing. I especially want to commend the service; every staff member, from the front desk to housekeeping, was welcoming with a smile and always ready to help, making you feel like an old friend. The breakfast also exceeded expectations, with both Chinese and Western options. The hot congee with side dishes and the freshly made noodles were particularly comforting. We ate well and slept comfortably. We'll definitely stay here again next time; I truly recommend it!

We checked in quite late, and there were some unidentified red stains on the bedsheets. The housekeeper who came to change them didn't say a word and showed no apology. The front desk lady, however, was quite proactive in handling the situation. At breakfast, there was a clump of hair on the bacon. The hygiene is really concerning. This second stay was a much worse experience.

The front desk staff were very responsive to guests' needs. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the Disney Wilderness Safari and metro station. The restaurant has a play area for children. I'd definitely come back again!

The room decor was thoughtfully designed with lots of kid-friendly elements, which made my child very happy. The hotel also has a soft play area, and it's super close to the zoo, just a few hundred meters walk. There are plenty of interactive activities at the zoo too.
