Ling Homestay (Jing'an Temple Branch)

After staying for a few days, I extended my stay. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this place. The location is incredibly convenient; the subway entrance is right at the community gate, and Jing'an Temple is just across the pedestrian bridge, making dining, drinking, and shopping super easy. The room itself is very nice, beautifully decorated with a green, pastoral vibe. The furniture and appliances are well-equipped, and the washing machine with a dryer function is especially perfect for typhoon weather. My family is all quite happy with it.

The butler service was excellent, always ready to answer any questions. The location is quite discreet, but the directions provided were very clear. The room photos are accurate; what you see is what you get. The place was also kept very clean, which was great. A few friends came over to play cards, and the table and sofa downstairs in the loft were perfect for two card games. Ordering some takeout made it ideal for a gathering with many friends, much better than a regular mahjong/poker room. The only minor issue is that the stairs going up were very dark at night, and the sensor light wasn't very responsive. My friends were hesitant to go up at first, so there's room for improvement there. It's very convenient for exploring and dining nearby. It'd be great to come back and stay again sometime.

The room was great, and the location was even better! Julu Road, Fuxing Road, and Changle Road (Jing'an District) are so much fun to explore! The cakes from the coffee shop right outside the room were absolutely delicious! My bestie said we're definitely coming back here next time we're off!

Traveling with two friends, good sleep is essential, and we all wanted our own large beds. This room perfectly met our needs! It was clean, hygienic, and the beds were really soft. Plus, its location right on Yu Garden Road is absolutely perfect for a city walk! Our only minor regret was the constant rain, but thankfully the host thoughtfully provided umbrellas, which was so sweet :)

The location is unbeatable, right on Changle Road, perfect for exploring and dining. I have to say, the stir-fried pork liver at Lanxin Restaurant is incredibly delicious and goes so well with rice! The room itself isn't big, but it's clean and cozy. It brought back memories of my college days with its bunk beds. The kitchen and the washer/dryer combo are in the common area outside, which really adds to that old Shanghai charm.

I was a bit worried it might not live up to the pictures, but it really did! It was clean, tidy, and had no strange smells. Here are a few casual snaps my 80-year-old mother took – she said she was very satisfied with her stay!

The avocado-green decor is really refreshing. Customer service rep Lily was super responsive online, always getting back to me instantly with any small issues. I'm very happy with the price and quality, especially for a place in the city center. Right outside the complex, if you take the overpass, you'll find a popular photo spot where I managed to snap some great shots of the Jing'an Temple's golden roof. The night view is even more captivating.
