Hotel location and price Even pleasant room is great. Especially thank you to kind employee Leo. Thanks to you, I had a good trip. If I come to Shanghai again, I will decide this place. 위치 진짜 좋고 영어가 가능한 직원이 있어서 불편함 없이 지냈어요. 한국분들은 꼭 여기로 가세요. 진짜 좋음! 냄새 안나고 쾌적해요

Perfect location right in the heart of the shopping district, with an easy walk to The Bund. We arrived in the morning and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready for early check-in. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious with thoughtful touches like complimentary wine and a cute plush toy. Breakfast was delicious with great variety. Overall, a very impressive and enjoyable stay!

I'm currently staying in room 905, which looks exactly like the hotel's photos. The room is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of windows for natural light. There are no other guest rooms to my left or right, making it incredibly quiet. The elevator requires a key card for access, which adds to the sense of security. The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, are enthusiastic and accommodating, always trying their best to meet guests' needs. They even gave out apples as gifts during the holidays, which was a very warm gesture. The doormen are also very attentive and polite to guests, helping with luggage, answering any questions, and even lending umbrellas when it rains. On the third floor, near the elevator, there's unlimited free bottled water, and free tea is available in the lobby. The basement has paid washing machines; it's 15 yuan per wash and 15 yuan per dry cycle. This is super convenient for travelers like me who don't pack a lot of clothes. I actually prefer it being paid because then fewer people use them, so the machines are clean and there's no waiting. Breakfast is abundant, and the staff are polite and friendly. All my favorites like salad, congee, wontons, and noodles are available – absolutely no complaints! They also offer free takeaway coffee. The hotel is near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Station on Metro Line 2, about an 8-minute walk away, and a five-minute walk to the Bund. So far, everything has been more than satisfactory; it deserves not just five stars, but 100! A big thank you again to all the staff for their hard work.

This hotel is truly an absolute gem. The staff were beyond accommodating, incredibly helpful, and genuinely some of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. A special shout-out to the three ladies who assisted me, they were honestly the bestest, going above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and comfortable for me. I absolutely loved the hotel ambience, the amenities were excellent, and the location was perfect. Every detail made my stay so enjoyable and memorable. I truly felt well taken care of throughout my stay. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a wonderful stay.

Youli Hotel has a very convenient and excellent location. There are many food options just beside and opposite the hotel, making it very easy to find meals at any time of the day. The main shopping area is only about a 10-minute walk away, and even the main attraction, 上海外滩 (The Bund), is within walking distance, which makes getting around extremely convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and considering the price and location, it is definitely very good value for money. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay was provided. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. They took the time to guide us on where to walk and how to get around, which was very helpful for first-time visitors. They also assisted us with booking a car to the airport, making our departure smooth and worry-free. Overall, this is a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, well-located hotel at a reasonable price, with helpful and attentive staff. We would definitely recommend Youli Hotel to others and would consider staying here again in the future 😊

Booked at an incredible price, especially for a Friday and this location – truly a steal! Although the room was small, the view of Holy Trinity Church outside the window made it feel much more spacious. I originally booked this place for a gastroscope appointment at Renji Hospital on Saturday morning (an 8-minute walk), but it turned out to be even closer to the Jiushi Building where I submitted my visa application on Friday (a 4-minute walk). The bathroom was clearly disinfected, which made me feel very reassured. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided at the front desk during check-in, while slippers and a hairdryer are in the drawer under the sink. The room lacked any unnecessary frills; it was small but perfectly formed. The front desk lady, Xingxing, was super friendly~

This hotel definitely lived up to its perfect reviews, after I spent half a day picking it out. All five stars, but the service gets four and a half because they addressed me as ”Sir” in a text asking for a review, which felt a bit off. Hope they pay more attention to that next time. Facilities: Very new. Comes with a smart toilet. The shower has both a handheld and a rain shower, both with great water pressure, and the shower stall is spacious. Very comfortable showering experience, thumbs up. Hygiene: When I first arrived, there was something on the bed. Luckily, I ran into a housekeeper when I went out, and they quickly changed the duvet cover. Thumbs up. Environment: It's located behind Nanjing Road, so it's close to the shopping areas but not noisy, and not far from the subway station. Thumbs up. Service: Initially, I was ready to give five stars even without them asking, but I hope they'll be more careful with the salutation in their texts next time (I'm guessing it was a mass message). When I checked in, they offered warm bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch given the not-so-warm weather in Shanghai at the time. They also noticed my child couldn't have coffee candy and specially brought out some twist-fried dough, which was a lovely gesture. Thumbs up. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I hope to visit again.

It's very close to North Bund, and only a five-minute walk to the Rockbund Christmas Market. Getting around is super convenient. However, the room itself is quite small, definitely cramped for a family of three like ours. There's a tiny balcony, which is just enough to put breakfast out in the morning, I guess. All in all, the location is a much bigger advantage than the overall room space.

Coming to Shanghai to celebrate Christmas early, I prioritized staying at Jinjiang Hotel, and as a long-standing benchmark in the hotel industry, it truly lives up to its reputation! I've stayed in many hotels, and having worked in the hotel service industry myself a long time ago, I have a keen eye for cleanliness. From a professional standpoint, the hotel's hygiene during this stay was absolutely impeccable and reassuring. The glass mirrors, faucets, and even the glass rinsing cups I picked up were all spotlessly clean when inspected against the light – truly sparkling. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly, maintaining a high standard of service throughout, reflecting the elegance and heritage of old Shanghai in every aspect! P.S. I have to commend the hotel's taste; the black tea bags my husband randomly picked from the drawer had a subtle floral aroma after brewing, which we really loved and found delicious!

EE0044****This hotel recently opened near the Bund, which is very convenient. First off, the service was excellent. Anuo from the front desk was very attentive and helpful. After checking in, they proactively mentioned needing to switch elevators and also informed me of the hotel's breakfast times. The elevator switch is a bit cumbersome and not super convenient. The soundproofing in the rooms isn't great, which is a bit of a drawback. Anuo also followed up after I checked in to ask about my experience, showing truly excellent service awareness. They were practically 'yes' to every request, with a great service attitude. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to consider this. Overall, it's still quite good. The hotel's buffet breakfast was decent and quite varied. Plus, there's a coffee bar on the ground floor of the lobby. It's very convenient to walk to Nanjing Road East and Yu Garden, and it's just across the road to catch a ferry to the Bund.

GGuest UserThe location of this homestay is very good. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the Bund and Nanjing Road. There are also many restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient. The homestay is complete with things and has simple cooking pots and bowls. We didn't cook anything and didn't study too much. The washing machine and drying rack in the homestay are very powerful and easy to use. I especially like the rose-flavored shower gel. The building itself is a bit old, but it can be seen that the owner of the homestay is carefully arranged and tries to make the guests comfortable. Very satisfied with this stay experience

GGuest UserThis hotel is my granddaughter's favorite; we stay here for a few days every year. The environment is elegant, and the hygiene is excellent 👌. Breakfast is abundant and delicious, with fresh and safe food. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was very tasty and delightful. The surrounding facilities are complete, and it's very close to Yu Garden and the Bund, making transportation incredibly convenient. This time, we also participated in the hotel's 'Flower Time' activity, which was very interesting and educational. My child had a blast, and the staff were warm, thoughtful, patient, and meticulous. Any requests we had were met with help, and we are very grateful 🙏.

XXzJing🌟 The Shanghai Seagull on the Bund: The Ultimate View Hotel Experience! Unbeatable river views, watch the Lujiazui 'Four-Piece Set' right from your bed! ✨ 🌃 The View is Absolutely Breathtaking ✅ Directly facing the Bund and the 'Architecture of All Nations' buildings. Photos from the balcony instantly look like they're from a movie. ✅ The Lujiazui 'Four-Piece Set' panorama is fully in view, offering two stunning perspectives, day and night. 🏙 The View: Day and Night, Two Kinds of Awe • Daytime – Sunlight glints on the Huangpu River, the 'Architecture of All Nations' is like a vintage oil painting. You can clearly see the distinct lines of Lujiazui's skyscrapers across the river. Sipping coffee on the balcony truly feels like being in a movie. • Nighttime – The entire Bund lights up, and the river reflects the dazzling lights. The room doesn't even need lights on to create a romantic atmosphere. You can watch the Oriental Pearl Tower change colors right from your bed – it's absolutely worth it! ✨ Secret Photo Spot: The floor-to-ceiling window by the bathtub is perfect for silhouette photos at night. The balcony is best for photos during the blue hour at dusk. 🛁 Full Room Experience Review • The bathtub was even bigger than I expected, and it came with a bath bomb. Soaking in the tub while watching the cruise ships pass by at night cured all my fatigue. • Complimentary fruit was replenished daily, and the mini-bar had so many drinks and snacks I couldn't finish them all (soda water, juice, local beer, capsule coffee – you name it!). • The room facilities were very modern. The curtains were fully automatic, power outlets had Type-C ports, and the smart toilet was incredibly convenient. • Free laundry and ironing service was a thoughtful touch, really convenient for business trips or extended stays. 🍳 Hidden Breakfast Tips 2. The semi-buffet style is perfect for someone like me who has 'eyes bigger than their stomach': ✅ Must-order: Eggs Benedict, the sauce was perfectly balanced. ✅ Highly recommend the pickled beetroot salmon from the cold cuts section – refreshing and appetizing. ✅ Parma ham with melon is a classic pairing, and the cheese selection had six or seven options. ✅ The Chinese noodle soup from the à la carte menu was also delicious and worth trying. 💎 Service Details Worth Praising Kelsey, our butler, provided incredibly attentive service, making us feel right at home! She proactively contacted us before check-in, meticulously explained every window's view features, and the custom-made luggage tags we received upon departure were of excellent quality. The gym and pool were quiet with few people. Although not large, they had all the necessary equipment and were very clean. 📸 Recommended Photography Times • Daytime: 9-11 AM, soft light, great for portraits with the river view. • Dusk: Half an hour before and after sunset, the Bund's buildings have a golden outline. • Nighttime: After 7 PM, all the lights are on, and the most stunning Bund appears. 📍 Check-in Tips: • For a view room, definitely choose a high floor (10th floor or above recommended). • If it's a birthday or anniversary, you can mention it in advance for a potential surprise setup. • Right outside the hotel is the North Bund Riverside Promenade, which is much less crowded than the main Bund. If you also want a weekend where you can lie down and admire the Bund, The Seagull on the Bund can truly fulfill all your imaginings~ Whether it's for a romantic getaway or a personal staycation, The view from this window is absolutely worth it! ❤️

MM55758****This hotel is super convenient, just a 200-meter walk from the Bund and right next to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street! It's very easy to find on the roadside, and taxis can pull up directly to the entrance. We walked through the corridor into the lobby, where the front desk staff immediately offered us two glasses of water while checking us in. We stayed in room 8412, an executive king room, and the cleanliness was impeccable everywhere, not a speck of dust even under the sofa! The sliding door tracks in the bathroom were spotless too! The bedding was also incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended!

SSlim88The location is absolutely fantastic, right near Nanjing Road and just a few hundred meters from the Bund. It's only a couple of minutes' walk to the subway station. The front desk staff provided excellent service. Our room the night before reeked of smoke, and after we complained, they immediately moved us to another smoke-free room. Although it was a bit noisy, it was much better than a smoky room. They even stored our luggage for free for several hours. I highly recommend the hotel staff!

MM237360****The hotel was incredibly luxurious! I went with my son for Christmas, and right when you walked in, there was a huge Christmas tree. The whole hotel was decorated perfectly! What surprised me the most was that I had booked a standard king room, but the hotel upgraded me to a suite for free! Thank you so much! The experience was absolutely perfect! I'll definitely choose this Peninsula hotel again next time!

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! You can see the Oriental Pearl Tower right from your room, and the photo I took was unzoomed. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Bund. There are also plenty of small eateries nearby, so finding food is no problem. The hotel service was also good; after walking around the Bund, I wanted some bottled water, and the front desk provided it very quickly. The only downside was that the bathroom had an odor, and I almost threw up while brushing my teeth. I hope they can fix the drainage. Breakfast is 18 yuan per person and consists of a pre-packaged bun, porridge, etc., and one banana, picked up at the front desk. I'd recommend skipping the hotel breakfast and trying local specialties near the hotel instead. The queen room faces the road and is quite small, which is understandable given the prime location. However, it can be noisy due to the main road, so if you're a light sleeper, you might want to consider other options. I was so exhausted that I fell asleep instantly. Shanghai has a time difference; it gets light around 5-6 AM and dark by 5 PM.

GGuest UserThis hotel is just beautiful and welcoming. People standing at the front will rush to help opening the door and unload your luggage from the car. The receptionist was really lovely and helpful and provide all the details in English. Then you will be brought to your room. The room was really lovely. The beds were a bit small for an adult and kids but this is based on foreigners size. The bathroom was not clean properly with stains on the wall, doors and bathtub ( picture attached) but this may be due of the fact that the room was old. There was a mini bar in the room but no price available. The hotel have a heated pool and multiple restaurant on site. The kids love the pool. The hotel is in the middle of all the places that need to be visited. If you go out from the hotel and turn right. You are 10 min walk from Nanjing Road. If you turn left, you are 10 min walk from YuYan Garden. And if you walk in direction of the back of the hotel, you are at the Bund. If you go straight you ll be most likely at people’s square. We had an amazing stay there and we were joined by our daughter’s friend who booked there aswell to make it convenient for the kids to see each other. I highly recommend this hotel for families and friends catch up. Really convenient location, really lovely and helpful staff.
