Hotels in Zhongshan Park Commercial Area, Shanghai

I come to Shanghai every year for concerts, and I usually choose Hanting for my stays. The hotel is generally good, and the transportation is quite convenient. However, the check-in process was a bit slow; I had to wait for quite a while. It might be because there were too many people during the concert period. 🤣

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a local noodle shop right around the corner that's absolutely delicious. Plus, there's a fruit store next to the hotel and a Lawson convenience store across the street, which is incredibly convenient.

The hotel environment is comfortable and clean, and the service is attentive. It's conveniently located with lots of great food options nearby. The only thing is that the room temperature was a bit high, quite hot. Even with the window open, I was still sweating. It would be great if this could be improved. 🙂

The room environment is very good, and the staff service is also excellent! The hygiene is also great, with plenty of hot water supply. The only downside is that food delivery cannot be brought to the room; you have to go down to the first-floor lobby to pick it up yourself.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Zhongshan Park subway station, and downstairs is the Dragon Dream shopping mall, which is great for those with kids. The hotel has been around for many years, but it's very well-maintained, clean, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast buffet is also good. The hotel lobby and bar on the 25th floor offer fantastic views. The only downside is that the room is quite small; with two adults, two children, and several suitcases, it was almost completely filled.

Impressed with this hotel as price was reasonable, room was clean and neat. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices to choose from. Will stay here again in the future.

The view is absolutely stunning! I was really surprised how beautifully Centric is decorated. You get an unobstructed view of Global Harbor and Zhongshan Park. Hanna added me on WeChat beforehand to give me directions to the parking and even made a note for a high-floor room. Check-in is on the second floor, and the art installation on the lobby wall is quite interesting. Food deliveries go to the reception on the first floor, and they thoughtfully label them with room numbers. The room was clean and well-maintained, and even staff members greeted me proactively in the elevator. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I really love this hotel! Not only is it conveniently located near several metro lines (like 11 and 13) and just off the Wuning Road exit of the Huning Expressway, but it's also right by Suzhou Creek, offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful escape from the city hustle. The front desk service was incredibly warm and thoughtful; they kindly informed me that the second floor was undergoing renovations and might have some noise, but for a hotel getting all new equipment, guests completely understand. They proactively upgraded me to a family room and extended my late check-out privilege to 2 PM. When I came back a little late, they even extended it by another half hour for me. Highly recommended! Oh, and free parking too!

The lady at the front desk was really nice and upgraded our room for free. The room had an excellent location, close to the scenic area, and we could see characteristic buildings right from the window. The room facilities were very complete and smart. The hairdryer wasn't one of those cheap, ineffective ones, and the smart toilet goes without saying. If I get the chance to visit Suzhou again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

This place offers an unbeatable combination of location, service, and value for money! The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It's incredibly conveniently located, close to vibrant areas like Jing'an, Xuhui, and even Wuyi Road and Yuyuan Road near the Bund. The surrounding area boasts an abundance of delicious food, and the street views are absolutely charming. Shared bicycles are readily available right outside the door, making it super convenient for reaching the subway or simply exploring the city at leisure. I always choose to stay in Changning District whenever I visit; it truly has such a vibrant and authentic local atmosphere that I adore!
