I can hear cars from the road all night and constructions nearby as well. The night light in the room is acting weirdly. It kept going on and off as if the room was haunted. :/ I could not sleep at all because of the light. Will I book again? Probably not.

I was traveling alone with my 7 year old daughter and stayed here for one night. We loved all the help we got. All the amenities were very convenient for us and all the staff was very helpful. Selene offered my daughter some treats upon arrival and some gifts when we left as well as offered suggestions on where to eat that would be most comfortable for my daughter. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay wonderful. Hope to visit again.😊

Bvlgari Unable to travel over the festive season, I decided to treat myself to a few days in a local hotel. What other choice was there, other than the Bvlgari? Prior to my arrival I received a call from the hotel. They confirmed my arrival time, made dinner reservations for me, added me to WeChat and offered me any other help that I required. Upon arrival I was greeted by Eva. She checked me in and immediately offered me a late check out time of 14:00. This was extended further on the final day to 16:00. Fantastic! More time to relax by the pool and in the sauna. Having checked me in, Eva gave me a tour of the property. The Bvlgari is stunning!From the stylish restoration of the Chamber of Commerce building to the sleek, modern interior of the main building. The Bvlgari is located in an excellent position by Suzhou Creek. It offers dazzling views of Lujiazui , the Huangpu River and the rear of The Bund. Perhaps one of the best views in the city. Of course, the room was magnificent. Huge TV, super comfortable bed, walk-in wardrobe and a wide selection of drinks and snacks, most of which were complimentary. I especially thought the pillow mist was a nice touch. In addition to the welcome snacks, Eva brought me a desert from their little cabin outside. A delicious Italian, vanilla donut- like desert. Good job I didn’t have lunch that day. I dined at both the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Both of which offer amazing food. The Italian presents simplistic fare with the emphasis on fresh ingredients. The vegetable broth and specialty bread is to die for. The Chinese restaurant offers high quality Cantonese food and an alternative wine selection to that in the main building. The sommelier suggested a great wine pairing for the meal and also provided a complimentary glass of champagne and a coffee liqueur before escorting back to the hotel. Le Mer products are used in the spa! Yes, this is fantastic. My therapist, Daisy, had me in the state of being between consciousness and unconsciousness many times during the course of my treatment. Just what I was looking for. The staff at the Bvlgari are excellent. Young, professional and obviously well trained, evident through their subject knowledge and warm hearted service. All the staff consistently addressed me by name and ensured that my stay was perfect. Whilst at the bar, one of the girls presumed I was asking for the bill, when actually I was asking for another drink. I left to visit the WC and returned to find a note apologizing for her misunderstanding of English accompanying a complimentary desert with my drink. That was amazing! Thank you, Elsker. It’s often the small things that make a difference. Whilst walking to my room one of the room attendants was vacuuming the carpet. She abruptly stopped and waited for me to pass. Whilst at the pool, I headed towards the jacuzzi. Some of the staff appeared to be fixing or checking something, but they swiftly disappeared as I emerged. Upon checkout, Eva was waiting for me with a gift bag containing chocolates. This was in addition to the luggage tags and toiletries that were gifted by the turn down service the previous night. Eva called me a car to take me home. Whilst I waited she filled my gift bag with sweets from the huge jars of confectionery in the lobby. As the doorman approached to let me know my car had arrived, he also presented a small gift of Bvlgari toiletry products. What an amazing experience.! Truly remarkable. I will definitely return and I’ll be adding locations in Paris, London, Bali and Milan to my list of places to visit. Thank you to the entire Bvlgari team. From those excellent customer facing members of staff to those who are behind the scenes and make things run so well. You all do a fantastic job and I wish you all the greatest success on the future. When booking the hotel, the room with a balcony was all sold. I was thinking I could upgrade to the balcony room when I check-in. In the end, it doesn’t work. But the room with no balcony still surprises me. The notes in the room said it would be noisy in the morning because of the work on the roof. However, I can’t hear any noise. The room is cosy and clean. Honestly, I think Zhotel is the best in this area with such low prices, and the staff are super helpful. You could see a lot of beautiful young ladies walking around the hotel to take pictures.

To the left there are Sichuan Road Bridge, Zapu Road Bridge. Where you can take good photos of the Bund. Shanghai Postal Museum is just 700 m away. Near to Metro station and budget shopping malls. Unfortunately the breakfast is typical and very few varieties (Not worth the price). There are small shops near the hotel if you choose not to book the breakfast in the hotel. Free coffee at the lobbybis a plus point. Thumbs up for all the friendly young receptionists. They all have done a good job. Photos taken from Sichuan lu Bridge above the Suzhou Creek.

Good budget hotel near the city center. It is very walkable distance few hundred meters to the Bund. The hotel has 7 floors with restaurant at the top. Hotel it self located in historical buildings but well renovated to modern design. It has nice tea kind of smell/ fragrance. From top of the restaurant you can see some parts of the view which is nice. The room small but adequate plus clean. There are free laundry and dryer for you to use. All in all location is perfect, cheap accommodation, breakfast is ok in sense they have something chinese and western menu.

This store is really good, the room is very clean, the boss is very good to upgrade the room for free. The location of the house is very good, next to the Bund of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, a few minutes walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. It is also very close to Yuyuan Chenghuang Temple. We took the subway to Nanjing East Road and walked out of Exit 6 for a few minutes. There is also a washing machine, refrigerator and kitchenware in the room. Unfortunately, I lived for a day. These things were useless. I will stay here next time.

I booked 4 nights in Dec2023. As it was winter, the entire hotel's aircon cooling system was turned off and switched to heating mode. There is no cooling mode in all the rooms. We were unfamiliar with the aircon settings and this resulted in our room becoming hot as a sauna. We slept on top of our blankets and were drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. Luckily for the 24 hours front desk, we called for help at 2am. They were cheerful and responsive and even sent someone up to our room and brought us a fan to circulate the air. And when an empty room was available the next day, they gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a much better air circulation. Despite paying only a fraction of the price of a big brand hotel (like Hyatt, Marriott or ), the service we received at JinJiang is on par or better. All the staff speak English and are attentive and eager to please. If things go wrong, let them know and give them a chance to rectify. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location and impeccable service. Thank you JinJiang Metropolo hotel for making my stay in Shanghai so enjoyable despite having almost no sleep the first two nights. All your staff from the front desk, doorman, bar waiter and room attendant scored very high marks! Great job! Special thanks to 小雷 for helping us with the aircon and room change. Thanks! 小雷

Had a good stay at this hotel overall. The location is amazing. The staff didn’t speak any English and on check-in it took 15 minutes to get us the keys because the receptionist that one visa was expired and instead of asking us he got us waiting until we started asking if there was any issues. The breakfast was inconsistent, sometimes cold and some other times warm, and one day I had a pack warm and another pack cold. Overall it was a good stay.

Ji hotel has great location, right beside daimaru dept store and hongyi plaza. Walking distance to the bund. We stayed at family room (1 double + 1 single). Room is cleaned daily but only the floor, the bed isn’t made at all during our 4 night stay. They only clean the floor and replace towel. Hotel is non smoking but you can clearly smell cigarette smell in the hallway and bathroom. I suspect people upstairs or downstairs smoke in the bathroom. Free laundry in the first floor. Lack of basic amenities (toothbrush must ask the receptionist). Receptionists know little to no English, some are not very friendly.

Very very satisfied with the room! Taking my mother on a trip, the old man came to Shanghai for the first time. Originally, he planned to go on a night cruise. The old man stood by the bed and looked directly at it and was satisfied. There is no need to go for a night cruise! You can enjoy the beauty of the Oriental Pearl Tower while lying on the bed. He shouted back to me once I asked why the hotel needed to charge 1,300 RMB. He angrily responded to me that we have to pay as the deposit. I think he should have a better way of communication as this is the reception of the hotel and he could communicate English. In addition, there was no deposit receipt provided. This is very unsatisfied.

Another great stay at this hotel. The staff were great and I was upgraded to a superior room because my booked one wasn’t ready at checkin time. It had a nice sofa and desk in the room and it looked like the finishings were being upgraded on the floor. A nice big shower and good water pressure and hot water. There is English news on the tv and good WiFi. Will definitely stay again.

The price is very good near the Bund. It's very close to the Oriental Pearl Tower. Ctrip added an extra two hours for late check-out. The bed is enough to sleep and rest. The room has no smell. The light is good here near the road. There are two-layer windows to reduce the noise. accept. (Don’t look for those unreliable B&B apartments.) I would like to suggest to the hotel that some of the batteries need to be repaired and the window holes should be blocked.
