Regent Shanghai on the Bund

The Bund Area Shanghai|0.68km from The Bund
By chance, we checked into Jinlin, an excellent Chinese restaurant in Shanghai Seagull Regent Hotel. After the meal, the front desk girl Quincy warmly received us and showed us the guest rooms. The children immediately fell in love with Seagull Regency’s river view room at a glance. The invincible river view is truly unparalleled. You can have a panoramic view of both sides of Huangpu River and Suzhou River. The overall service of the hotel is very good, full of details and treasures. Room: The location is excellent, occupying C position on the Bund. You can enjoy the river view from the room, and quietly watch the boats going by on the river. It is super enjoyable~ The amenities in the room are first-class, and the bubble bath is the highlight. The hotel thoughtfully prepared facial masks, makeup remover towels, cleansing towels, etc. for us. Everywhere is full of warm details. The hotel's welcome gift and children's gifts are all very online and tasteful. Swimming pool gym: Swimming coach Jackie made Hanghang's swimming skills improve by leaps and bounds. The children liked it very much. We are also very grateful to Coach Annie for taking us to experience hot springs and steaming. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the fitness equipment is an immersive real-life experience, which is very high-end. breakfast: Breakfast is a la carte, with rich dishes, focusing on authentic and very pure Western food! Executive chef Luke will also dig out the hidden menu and serve some special dishes, which the children like very much. Jinlin Chinese Restaurant: The first time I tasted it, I was impressed by the taste. I was really satisfied. Especially the barbecued pork and crispy squab, it was an unforgettable bite. After asking the chef, I found out that it was Chef Ding from Hong Kong. The food is really amazing. The service in the Chinese restaurant is also very good. It is unique for a restaurant with such scenery and food on the Bund. . Serve: In general, this is one of the few hotels in Shanghai with such online services. The location is absolutely unique. It will be my first choice when coming to Shanghai in the future. Shanghai Seagull Regent has become our other home in Shanghai. Everyone who likes Seagull Regent family~

I booked 4 nights in Dec2023. As it was winter, the entire hotel's aircon cooling system was turned off and switched to heating mode. There is no cooling mode in all the rooms. We were unfamiliar with the aircon settings and this resulted in our room becoming hot as a sauna. We slept on top of our blankets and were drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. Luckily for the 24 hours front desk, we called for help at 2am. They were cheerful and responsive and even sent someone up to our room and brought us a fan to circulate the air. And when an empty room was available the next day, they gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a much better air circulation. Despite paying only a fraction of the price of a big brand hotel (like Hyatt, Marriott or ), the service we received at JinJiang is on par or better. All the staff speak English and are attentive and eager to please. If things go wrong, let them know and give them a chance to rectify. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location and impeccable service. Thank you JinJiang Metropolo hotel for making my stay in Shanghai so enjoyable despite having almost no sleep the first two nights. All your staff from the front desk, doorman, bar waiter and room attendant scored very high marks! Great job! Special thanks to 小雷 for helping us with the aircon and room change. Thanks! 小雷

I really like this style of room. It feels like home. I stayed here for 3 nights and slept deeply every night. The bed is not very hard. It's super comfortable. You can lie on the bed and watch movies. It's also a pleasure to sleep. This is my third time in Shanghai. This hotel is the best I've ever stayed in. I will choose this hotel again next time. It's very close to Nanjing Road and the Bund subway station. I highly recommend it. No bad reviews. Like👍👍👍👍👍
