Excellent location. Behind the house is the horse trail going up the mountain. The facilities are pretty good. Although there is no 24-hour hot water, it is still available for morning and evening use.
It might be the off-season, so there was no one at the hotel reception. Only a young shopping guide came, took a photo of our ID card and gave us the room card. Because I had some high reflexes, I asked him to help carry the box to the second floor and asked for money to move it. This was the first time I encountered it and I was a little shocked. But in the end, his brother helped carry the box up.

The hotel is really like a manor. It can be seen that the owner is very attentive. After eating, it is very comfortable to walk by the pool. The room is also very spacious and the environment is very pastoral. The TOTO smart toilet used in the bathroom is very good👍
The hotel is right next to the scenic spot. It only takes 5 minutes to walk there in the morning. This should be the most stylish hotel near Baishui Terrace. I will stay here next time I come to visit.

This tent camp is located in a beautiful area, the view is gigantic, as is the starry sky at night. It is easy to reach on foot from Haba, about 7 km and 650 meters in altitude. At dinner we went into raptures, the traditional hot pot in the communal hut, a fireplace crackling, and you go outside and see this wonderful sky.
The owner helped us plan the next day and organised a trip to Shangrila. It was all perfect, thank you so much.

It was really great. It was my first time to experience camping. It was really cold in Shangri-La Haba Snow Mountain in November, but it was really great to sit in the camp and look at the Haba Snow Mountain opposite. It was really nice to feel the tranquility and beauty.
The B&B is in American camping style. There are about 10 campsites. The furniture styles inside are designed and arranged by the owner himself. It is very warm. If there are many people coming together, you can sing by the bonfire at night. The foot of the snow mountain is so beautiful.
The owner and the proprietress of the B&B are very nice. They also raised a very well-behaved and enthusiastic German Shepherd. They can guard the house at night and ask for food when eating. Hahaha, there is also a coffee shop at the foot of the mountain, which is also super good. If the weather is good, three or two people will get together in the coffee shop at night to chat about life and look at the starry sky. It is beautiful.
It happened to rain when I came to Haba Snow Mountain this time, so I didn’t see Haba Snow Mountain, but camping on rainy days has a different flavor. I always have to leave some regrets and look forward to the next wonderful encounter.

The last stop of Shangri-La trip arrived at Haba Village. In the night, the owner of the B&B warmly welcomed us and helped us load and unload our luggage. Considering that we had a lot of luggage and were tired from the journey, we directly upgraded to a larger room type, and then personally She drove us to a very delicious small restaurant in the village for dinner. We saw her greeting the folks in the village familiarly. It seemed like she was very popular, lively and interesting, and very picturesque. After the meal, we returned to the warm B&B. , neat and clean, with complete facilities. There is a large tea table in the yard for guests to drink tea and chat. It is very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast the next day was delicious rice noodles, noodles, and pancakes, all freshly baked and very comfortable to eat. Some of the guests went to climb snow mountains, some were on vacation, and some were a group of light hikers like us. They were all taken care of very well and tried their best to satisfy everyone's wishes. The boss took us to pick hazelnuts in the woods in her backyard. It was really our first experience in life. It was very interesting. In the woods, we saw the mountain spring flowing straight down from Haba Snow Mountain, which is the water source for food and use of the B&B. It was really high-end 👍 Lunch is The boss personally prepares the home-cooked delicacies in the kitchen. Looking at the green mountains and green valleys in the small courtyard, you can enjoy the five-star view of the restaurant. It is amazing. To be honest, we are reluctant to leave. In just half a day, the boss and his family left a deep impression on us. They are warm, honest, kind and lovely. I hope they all go well and their business is prosperous. I also seriously recommend this B&B to everyone. It is excellent. Worth it, worth having. We will meet again next time we go hiking in Haba. ❤️

Climbing Haba Snow Mountain, I stayed at the owner’s wife’s house for three days. On the first day, I checked in, my car, and other things were all stored in the inn. The owner’s wife helped contact the guide and accommodation at the mountain base camp for food and drink. I went up the mountain the next day and started climbing at two o’clock in the morning. The weather was very bad. Well, one trip to the top. When we were descending, the landlady helped contact Ma Xiashan. When we went down to the village, the landlady kindly drove us to pick him up for free. Thank you very much to the landlady. After we came back, we washed clothes at the landlady's house, adjusted our body, and ate and drank at her house. Every time we settled the account, she said no. Remember to count them together when you leave. I'm speechless, the boss is really honest. Recommended. One last thing to add, when climbing Haba Snow Mountain, the boss’s wife’s family provides one-stop service. There are also mountaineering guides. They are all locals and are very familiar with the boss. The boss’s wife will specially explain that for my guests, please wear my safety belt. Come down. Like family. It's very considerate. The owner's restaurant has pictures and beautiful scenery while eating.

This hotel truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by its cleanliness and the warm, friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The service is nothing short of excellent—they even offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to the train station, which made our journey so much easier.
The hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The room is spacious, with a big TV screen and a cozy sofa for relaxation. The thoughtful amenities include a heated floor and bed, which were perfect for the cold weather. Even the toilet seat has a heater and a bidet, making it incredibly convenient and comfortable. They also provide additional oxygen in the room—a great touch, especially for those who might feel the effects of high altitude.
The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking! Imagine waking up to stunning mountain scenery, lush green grasslands, and sheep grazing peacefully—it’s like a dream come true. To make our stay even more special, they upgraded our room for free to one with a luxurious bathtub!
For Muslim travelers, this hotel is incredibly accommodating—they provided us with a delicious vegetarian breakfast, so we felt completely at ease. However, please be mindful when sitting on the sofas as their adorable, friendly dog loves to sit there too and might come to greet you. Their dog is super cute and playful, adding a warm and homey touch to the stay!
One of the most delightful surprises was that the hotel provides traditional Chinese costumes for free! We had so much fun dressing up and taking beautiful photos. It made us feel like royalty from an ancient Chinese dynasty—truly a unique and unforgettable experience.
Despite the language barrier, the staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs. They went above and beyond to assist us, offering suggestions, pinpointing locations, and ensuring we had everything we needed. A big thumbs up to the staff member whose picture I shared (unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name). The hotel owner should truly give her credit for her exceptional service—it made our stay even more memorable!
This hotel is located near the stunning Napahai Lake, not Dukezong Ancient City. If you’re planning to stay close to Dukezong, this might not be the best choice. But trust me, you don’t need to stay near Dukezong—this hotel is so good, it’s worth being a little further away. The peaceful surroundings, incredible service, and top-notch amenities make it more than worth it!
Another fantastic perk is the nearby e-bike rental. We rented bikes and had an amazing time exploring the beautiful Napahai area and enjoying the serene countryside.
I highly recommend this hotel, especially for travelers from Malaysia. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Trust me, you won’t regret staying here—it’s a memory you’ll cherish forever!

There’s bed warmer and floor heater and the toilet comes with automatic bidet. There’s washing machine and even extra jackets that can be borrowed from the hotel as we undermine the cold in Shangrila the puffer jacket we borrowed really help us a lot with the cold. There’s pickup and dropoff service for free to and fro the Railway Station. The room that we book is really nice and the view is also nice. Please stay here if you come to Shangrila. You won’t regret it.

Then when we left, the boss got up at 6 o'clock in the morning to take us to the high-speed rail station. When we arrived at 11 o'clock in the evening, the boss helped us get in touch with us to take a ride to the Meili Snow Mountain to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. We arrived at the B&B and drank fruit and butter tea! The sanitary environment is very good! The equipment is all brand new and said to be newly opened this year! Highly recommend everyone to stay here

The B&B has an Alaskan dog, so cute! I have to play with it every day. It snowed in Shangri-La on the day I went there, and the Napahai Lake along the way was particularly beautiful! There are many cattle, sheep and horses along the way

GGuest UserFeifan Hotel is conveniently located in Shangri La Old Town (Dukezong) and is fully accessible by car/taxi, which can drop you off right in front of the hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated, paying homage to the town's Tibetan's roots, which is what makes the hotel very charming to me. The room itself is very clean comfortable to stay in, the amenities and kits provided are more than plentiful. The floors in front of the bathroom are also heated, which is very surprising (I wasn't expecting that). The loveliest aspect of my stay would have to be the kind hotel staff who were very helpful and welcoming to us starting from our arrival (the cups of warm tea was very relieving during the cold night). A couple of hotel staff members can converse in English, which was very helpful for us as we are foreign tourists. I appreciated the conversations I had with a staff member during breakfast about the various foods that was on offer. I also appreciated the little gift that was given to us when we checked out as the hotel staff seemed to notice that I did enjoyed several cups of butter tea during my breakfast and the help with arranging a car to transport us to the train station. Overall, I am very impressed with our stay here and would not hesitate at all to recommend anyone to stay here. It is worth it!

RRonaNalaThe hotel is located 1 km from the ancient town and is a 10-15 minute drive to the train station.
The room was comfortable, and the water pressure and heater worked perfectly.
The Wi-Fi was very stable as well. (For foreigners, do bear in mind, if you connect to hotel wifi, you would need to connect to VPN in order to use WhatsApp, IG or Youtube)
This is a 9-year-old property, so there are some flaws that can be improved, but that is understandable.
My only feedback is about the F&B restaurant; they only have one all-day dining option. Breakfast was alright, with more of a local selection.
I stayed for two nights. On the first day, there was staff available to help me and serve my cafe latte order. However, on the second day, I did not see any staff on standby, so I had to make my own cafe latte (I had to froth the milk), which I found awkward.
I wish the staff were more well trained, but I understand it is low season and the hotel probably hired part-timers for service.
The best highlight of my stay was meeting a lady named Rose He, who is part of the guest services team (i think). She made recommendations on where to go and even found us a local driver to take us around. She was extremely kind and polite. We exchanged WeChat information, and she texted me when the weather turned cold or rainy. She also helped us to arrange complimentary transportation to the train station. It felt personalized. Shangri-La, if you are reading this, I believe she deserves a token of appreciation. She is the true star and a great example of “hospitality.”

GGuest UserThe best thing about this hotel is the view from the room. Unfortunately, that's as good as it gets! I really don't understand why it has such good reviews as I don't think it deserves them. Our room was really dirty - the first thing I saw when I walked in was dirt on the floor and clumps of hair in the corner by the furniture as well as hair on the floor. The most revolting thing was the bath mat on the floor - the parts of it that should have been white were a very dirty brown - it obviously hadn't been washed in many months. The ”fitted” sheets on the bed had bleach stains on them and they didn't fit the bed properly as they didn't tuck under the mattress which meant it came loose during the night. The mattress was very uncomfortable (hard and lumpy) - there was no mattress protector on the bed or protectors on the pillows. The walls are paper thin and, unfortunately, we had three very loud and excitable young women next door to us who talked and laughed very loudly until after midnight on all three nights we were there. The room wasn't serviced for the 3 nights we were there and we had to ask for extra toilet paper and water as they didn't put any in on the first day. We also had to empty our own bins and ask them to come and collect them from outside our door. The staff were friendly enough, but they seemed to spend all day on their phones lounging around in the rather untidy and dirty looking reception area. All the common areas were dirty too - the staircase hadn't been vacuumed any time recently as there was dirt on every stair. The place has a very neglected and uncared for feel about it which is a real pity as it could be lovely if some time and effort was put into making it clean and tidy and updating the furniture and bedding. It seems that the staff are very bored with their jobs and have no interest in keeping the place nice for customers.

MMarkGreat hotel on the top of a hill looking across the town. The room was spacious with views, the bathroom area large. The staff were helpful when approached and always smiling.
The walk to the hotel is challenging at night when the air is damp. We purchased some oxygen from the grumpy man's shop at the bottom of the hill, which eased the walk. The staff assisted carrying our bags up and down the hill whenever required, which was great.
Unfortunately, they didn't clean our room during our 3 night stay, which meant we had to ask for toilet paper each day, and the toilet bin never got emptied.

GGuest UserI was skeptical about TeaHorse at first due to the lack of reviews but this turned out to be a wonderful stay! We stayed here overnight on our 2 day hike through the Tiger Leaping Gorge.
We upgraded to the Deluxe Standard Room (for extra 50 CNY) since the room is newer and slightly bigger. The ensuite toilet was basic but very clean. The beds were also heated and the aircon could be used for heating and cooling.
The guesthouse also runs a restaurant cooking homecooked meals and a cafe/bar boasting a beautiful view. We felt that the view from TeaHorse was better than the one at Halfway House, which seems to be the more popular resting spot amongst hikers. The view of stars from the cafe viewpoint at night is also amazing.
The staff helped us book a return bus to Lijiang, which left from Tina’s guesthouse the next day. Tina’s was a 4h hike from TeaHorse and we boarded the bus back to Lijiang Old Town with no problem.
Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend this room as an overnight rest point for hikers.
