Shangri-la Designer Homestay without Summer(By the Cosmic Wheel of Dukezong)

The room was spacious and very clean. The location is right next to the plaza, and even though it's lively outside at night, it was surprisingly quiet in the room, which was a huge plus. The service was excellent, truly warm and proactive, making you feel very welcome and cared for. Definitely worth recommending.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way – both the facilities and the service were fantastic. Its location is superb; I could walk to Guishan Park in less than 3 minutes. The room facilities were new and spotlessly clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Plus, it's super convenient for dining out and renting a car. The guesthouse even arranged pick-up from and drop-off at the station, and provided great information about local attractions. Excellent service all around!

The views are absolutely stunning! It's right below the prayer wheel, making it super convenient to get anywhere. You can even get great shots of the temple from the hotel. It's just perfect! The owner is also incredibly nice and even offers pick-up and drop-off service.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to the prayer wheel. I visited during Chinese New Year, and even though it's on a main street, it quieted down by 11 PM, so my sleep wasn't disturbed. The heating was also excellent. The breakfast spread was generous, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They even offered complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to the station, which was a huge plus. Highly recommend!

This B&B is right in the heart of the old town, super convenient location. There's a convenience store, supermarket, restaurants, and souvenir shops nearby, and it's very close to Guishan Park. My room had a balcony with an amazing view – perfect for photos (all the pictures were taken from the balcony). The balcony door could be deadbolted and had an extra security latch, so privacy and safety were well-assured. I especially want to praise the service. The owner called ahead to ask if I needed a pick-up and helped with my luggage the whole way, which was incredibly thoughtful. When I was leaving, I planned to take a taxi to the high-speed rail station myself, but at check-out, the owner offered to arrange a car to take me. Throughout my stay, if I messaged them with anything, they'd sort it out immediately. Really impressive. The room design was simple yet stylish, and the amenities were all good quality. Even though Shangri-La is quite cold, the room was super warm, allowing me to get excellent rest. I highly recommend everyone to stay here!

I originally booked for 2 nights but ended up extending for another 2 nights directly with the owner. The owner and staff are incredibly nice, and the service is top-notch. The environment is fantastic – it's in a central location but surprisingly quiet. I'm a light sleeper, but it was absolutely silent after 10 PM. I highly recommend everyone stay here! Oh, and the breakfast is delicious too! The soy milk is freshly ground from various grains, and the highland barley pancakes are a must-try.
