This hotel is right next to Songzanlin Monastery, just a wall away from its back entrance, which saved us the pain of climbing over 140 steps. The view from the fourth-floor observation deck is stunning and perfect for photos. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and polite, greeting us with a Hada, hot tea, and yak cheese biscuits upon arrival, instantly melting away our travel fatigue. Whether you want to immerse yourself in ******* culture at the third-floor exhibition hall or simply relax and enjoy the view from the fourth floor, this place perfectly caters to all your needs.

Our stay was excellent, thanks to the incredibly attentive service from our butler, Sangji. Five-star recommendation! The biggest highlight of our stay at Songtsam Linka was undoubtedly the service provided by Sangji. From confirming our transfer vehicle and seatbelts before we even arrived, to handling all our big and small requests during our stay – extra key cards, restocking toiletries, towels, and drinking water – Sangji was always on it. He responded instantly, never delayed, and resolved everything quickly and efficiently. Traveling with elderly parents and children meant our itinerary was a bit complicated. Sangji patiently answered every single question and even proactively helped us arrange a photoshoot at Songzanlin Monastery. He explained the makeup duration, ******* clothing rental, and shooting process in detail. When our child accidentally soiled a towel, he didn't make us feel bad at all; instead, he immediately reassured us not to worry, truly showing genuine hospitality. Regarding our travel arrangements, Sangji proactively suggested a commercial vehicle for our group size to ensure safe and comfortable transportation. He patiently confirmed every detail, from booking a car for the Potatso + Napa Lake loop, where to buy tickets for Guishan Park, to hotel breakfast times. There was no hint of perfunctoriness, which made our high-altitude trip worry-free and reassuring. Even late at night, Sangji consistently responded to messages, from confirming our departure time for the next day to helping arrange a Thangka painting experience. Every query was answered, and every request was fulfilled. This level of meticulous, patient, and sincere service made our entire Shangri-La trip much smoother and provided immense peace of mind for our whole family, especially traveling with children and elders. I highly recommend Songtsam Linka, and a special thank you to Sangji for his thoughtful service. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Shangri-La!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The customer service attendant added me on WeChat in advance and showed incredible care throughout my stay. As soon as we arrived, she greeted us with delicious shortbread cookies and helped us book dinner. In the evening, she proactively offered laundry service, and even provided nasal oxygen when my family suffered from altitude sickness. The next day, she assisted with a late check-out and arranged a car to take us to the old town. Even though she was constantly busy, she was always responsive, friendly, and patient. The room was beautiful and tidy, bright and spacious, with complete amenities. My family wasn't very satisfied with our previous night's stay in Lijiang, so they were instantly amazed and happy when we entered this room. The toilet and bathroom were very clean, with two sinks. The shower pressure wasn't very strong, but we didn't dare wash our hair anyway, so it wasn't an issue. It was very quiet at night, and despite being on the first floor, it wasn't noisy at all. For dinner, we had the beef hotpot. There was plenty of beef, though the flavor was a bit mild, but it was convenient and hygienic. For those who prefer stronger flavors, you can also order takeout to eat in the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful, and the yogurt and toast were delicious. The view from the rooftop was particularly stunning, and eating at the bar there was a real pleasure. The hotel is right next to Songzanlin Monastery. In the evening, you can stroll by the lake and watch the sunset, and it's also very close to Songzanlin Monastery during the day, with no stairs to climb! In short, I highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Songzanlin Monastery!

This hotel is, without a doubt, the absolute best accommodation near Songzanlin Monastery! The views are incredible, directly facing the snow-capped mountains. The Tibetan-style decor is serene and elegant, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, with oxygen available – a real peace of mind at high altitude. The ******* Cultural Experience Center on the third floor even gifted us free Buddhist amulets 😊. We heard some stories from the hotel founder and saw authentic ******* clothing and accessories, which was truly eye-opening 👍. I especially want to commend Miss Qu Chu. She's lovely and generous, with meticulous and thoughtful service. She communicated our itinerary in advance, reminded us about high-altitude precautions, and gave us a warm and thorough welcome upon arrival. She patiently and properly handled all our requests, striking the perfect balance. We felt so well-cared for throughout our stay, which eased any anxieties about traveling at this altitude. It also happened to be a child's birthday, and they thoughtfully provided a small cake 🧁. With stunning views and heartwarming service, our trip's happiness factor was through the roof! I was completely won over during my stay at Songtsam Linka Shangri-La. The hotel is uniquely situated right inside the Songzanlin Monastery scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for entering and exiting the site. Plus, it even includes complimentary admission tickets, which saved us a lot of hassle. Our scenic-view room was very spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows that framed stunning views of the snow-capped mountains, lake, and the monastery's golden roofs. The butler, Mr. Qu, was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering detailed explanations and proactively sharing local travel tips and ******* customs. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, and the facilities were brand new and well-equipped. With individual oxygen supply, floor heating, and a humidifier, it was especially welcoming for first-time visitors to the plateau.

The hotel's overall ambiance is incredibly photogenic, and it's a breeze to get to Songzanlin Monastery without any uphill climbs. The ******* decor on the third floor is meticulously arranged and beautifully presented, offering excellent value for money! Beyond five-star recommendation! The hotel is right next to Songzanlin Monastery, allowing direct access to the main hall from a side entrance, bypassing the main steps. The room's large window offers a direct view of Lamuyangcuo Lake, and there are some local culture-related books in the bedroom for reading. The top-floor restaurant boasts superb views; I highly recommend the matsutake and free-range chicken hotpot – it's the most delicious I've ever had. The butler service was incredibly thoughtful. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!
