The whole guesthouse has a striking style, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The owner and his wife are both very welcoming and always happy to answer any questions about travel tips, even when we asked a lot, they never showed any impatience. They responded promptly to all our needs. What I particularly loved is that their towels are disposable, which is such a relief for those traveling with kids – no worries about towel hygiene, a really thoughtful detail. The owner even personally drove us to catch our high-speed train. Wishing them great business, and if I ever come back to Shangri-La, I'll definitely choose their place again!

The hotel's ******* ambiance is absolutely fantastic, with wooden and stone architecture and beautifully carved details that add a lot of character. The room was clean and comfortable, and the high-altitude amenities were a thoughtful touch. The courtyard offers a pleasant view, and the service was truly heartwarming! They provide disposable towels and other essentials, and the ******* restaurant they recommended was excellent!

The owner was really nice. I had an 8 AM bus to Ninong, and the owner made sure breakfast was ready half an hour early so I wouldn't miss it. Tangyuan (the cat) was super well-behaved and gentle; I couldn't stop petting him.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on the edge of the ancient city center. It's also conveniently located next to a taxi stand for when you need to head out of town. **Cleanliness:** The room was beautiful and spotless, exactly as pictured. **Service:** The owner was very attentive and their recommendations for local food, drinks, and activities were fantastic! I was also very pleased with the traditional clothing available at the hotel – the price was reasonable! Plus, there's an adorable welcoming dog!
