Xiangsheli Foguang Qifu Boutique Inn

We absolutely loved this hotel. The room was warm and cozy, the heated floors were amazing when it was cold outside. The hosts were wonderful and the location is perfect. No complaints!

Nice accommodation, nice and warm staffs ; picked up at the rail way station, then transported luggages to room. Nice breakfast and room (with floor heater).

Good location and nice staff

I had a very good experience staying at the Xiangsheli inn. Front desk was extremely helpful and caring. The inn itself is clean and very welcoming. Location is good too.

The hotel is located within Dukezong old town. It has a balcony with beautiful view to see sunset. The room is big and clean, with adequate facilities. Staff are friendly and supportive. We booked a private 7-seat car to Daocheng Yading. The driver is skillful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel in Shangri-la city.

I have stayed in many hotels in Shangrila old town over the past 12 years so have a little experience. Location: Close to the top dancing square but at the top of a very steep hill. It had rained so the stone street was VERY slippery. It is close to impossible to walk up the hill with suitcase. There is a 1/2 meter wide ***** of carpet that was laid down on the right side of the road going up the hill. It gave great traction, but unfortunately some non-thinking person had parked their electric cart directly on top of the carpet so you could not navigate it. I arrived at 6 PM and that electric cart was still sitting on the carpet in the same place the next morning at 9 AM. Trying to walk around the electric cart , but I did slip and fell to the ground. I would not come back to this hotel again, if there was any potential for any rain. The picture is of the morning after the rain had dried. When I booked my room, they did tell me that there was only one room remaining and it was for four people. I was solo but I booked it anyway. Unfortunately, I did not understand that there are four beds that are actually side-by-side touching each other. They are very very thin pads laid on top of a wooden platform. No way to get into or out of any bed without crawling back to the foot of the bed and going over the edge that way. It was the hardest sleeping service I have ever been on and got very little sleep. If I had my sleeping bag and camping mattress, I would’ve just slept on the floor. Won’t be back here again. The service people at the hotel were very nice. Offered to carry my bag up to my room on the third floor and the woman who provided the breakfast in the morning was very pleasant. Have no complain about the service just the beds in the access to the hotel. If it’s raining, make it a no go for me 

İt is a great hotel in the middle of the old town. İts very clean, quiet and the owner is very helpful. We will stay in this hotel when we visit shangri-la again :)

We stayed 2 different nights in 2 separate rooms. First was rather small but had all the comfort of a King bed, warmth from floor heater and electric heated mattress pad and separate toilet and bathroom. Humidifier available too. Second stay we had the room with whatbthe staff said had the best view...facing an open plot of land that was being developed. But much bigger then the first stay. The staff and lady boss were very helpful during our stay. A very simple breakfast starts 8am. Just a note that the guesthouse is at the end of a steep road and they do provide luggage pick up from the main emtramce of the ancient town.

Located inside the old town. Nice decor and reasonably large room. Host is helpful can ask for help in arranging transportation for sight seeing
