5/5PerfectYachajiao is a wonderful hotel with a spectacular location! Seated in the Tiger Leaping Gorge you have amazing views of the Yulong Snow Mountain. We stayed there for one night for our hike but if we had time we would gladly stay longer! The check in was smooth and fast, communication through WeChat was convenient and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was a mix of Chinese and Western and gave us a good start for our hike. They have an outdoor pool with mountain views but it was sadly enough too cold in winter to try it out. The staff were friendly and very helpful! For sure we will remember this lovely guesthouse with the amazing views!

5/5PerfectThe Yachajiao Manor was truly exceptional. We stayed here after hiking the first part of Tiger Leaping Gorge. The room was beautiful and modern. The heated floors kept the room at the perfect temperature in the cold winter. The bathroom had a very fancy toilet and shower with hot water 24 hours. The beds were super comfortable. The deck had a bathtub on it where the view was private and so beautiful. You could see all the stars at night and it was very peaceful. We ate dinner here and the food was wonderful, though we had read different. It was just right after a hike. The next day they offered a simple breakfast that also was super filling for our day 2 hike. I highly recommend this place. It was a treat in the middle of a long hike.

4.7/5OutstandingBeautiful setting, wish could have stayed longer, it was only one night of transit to Lijiang. Highly recommended if you are planning to stop by in the area. The hiking just behind the accommodation is also a hidden treasure, a safe passage to halfway. Over all a high quality residence, love to come back again.

Best hotel view ever! Each room is its own two-story stone house with a large glass-floor balcony, an enclosed garden, and a working fireplace! The views of Tiger Leaping Gorge are absolutely breathtaking. The outdoor jacuzzi was perfect after a long day of hiking. The beds were super comfortable and the food was great. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
