I stayed here for a night after the hike through TLG. The view from the rooftop is amazing and there are some great short hikes to some stunning viewpoints that you can do the next day before moving on.

Luke's hostel was very nice. The property is undergoing renovations, but the rooms are still in great condition. The garden is immaculate and abundant. The food cooked by Luke's wife was delicious. Luke was extremely helpful in organising our trek to Haba Village via Ennu Village - highly recommend. Thankyou.

Great place to stay at Tiger leaping gorge, very clean, extremely beautiful view! It’s one of the top very highest houses in that mountain, so ideal to sleep and have a great view in the morning. The owner is very friendly, the wife cooks very well, very authentic with many different animals around (cow, pig, etc).
If you are sportive then it’s ok for you to walk up as I did (3km up), otherwise you can arrange with the owner to pick you up by car
I was there during the Chinese new year, and the family was EXTREMELY nice as they invited me to share the dinner with then, great experience !😊
Response from Property: Thank you for your concern and support😁

You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain when you open the door. Below the mountain is the surging Jinsha River. The air is fresh and the boss is very sincere. I look forward to coming back to experience nature next time.

Because the Zhonghutiao Scenic Area was closed for maintenance, we decided to take a walk to the Lower Hutiao and take a look at the Konghuanxi Observation Deck the night before, and then take a bus back to Lijiang in the afternoon.
Unexpectedly, we met Lu Ke by chance. Uncle Lu Ke was simple, kind, and enthusiastic. Because of the shortage of manpower, Lu Ke made us a simple bowl of noodles. During the conversation with Uncle Lu Ke, we learned that he had been maintaining the Ancient Tea Horse Road and built several bridges at his own expense until the last one was destroyed by a mudslide. This ancient road can go all the way from Naxi to Haba Village. Because we like the authenticity, tranquility, and strong atmosphere of life here, we decided to stay here for one more night.
Now it seems that this is one of the most correct decisions I have made in my life 😆, exploring this ancient tea-horse road that has existed for thousands of years. The scenery is considered to be the best on this high road. In addition, while watching the sunset on the snow-capped mountains at night, I enjoyed the authentic yak beef hot pot made by Lu Ke's son, as well as freshly picked organic vegetables and drinking Lu Ke's brewed barley wine, which put a perfect comma on this unplanned beauty!
Facilities: I lived in a four-person room, and the bed was very comfortable to sleep on. Lu Ke's accommodation conditions were relatively simple, and there were no slippers. But wifi, hot water and other basics were available.
Hygiene: Lu Ke may be renovating the inn during this period, and there is a shortage of staff, so the room was not cleaned much.
Environment: Lu Ke's own vegetable garden and flowers, plus the original ecology and unique beauty here are worthy of five stars
Service: Uncle Lu Ke is warm and hospitable, and eating and staying in the inn in Tiger Leaping Gorge is the king of cost-effectiveness!
Uncle Lu Ke, see you later!

On the last night of the Tiger Leaping Gorge hike, I decided to stay at Luke's house. During the day, I saw a beautiful waterfall in the mountains, hiked in the walnut garden, and listened to Luke talking about the history of this road. Pieter's Haba Mountain Circumambulation also mentioned the description of this section of the road. Interested friends can search on the website. This road is considered an extension of the high road hike, and I think it is still necessary to experience it. The road is wild and requires a guide to walk, but the scenery is also top-notch. The water in the mountains is very clear. A small sip is sweet and thirst-quenching. It is a very good experience. The road to Luke's house can be directly navigated. I recommend that it is best to let Luke pick you up for free, because it is all cement roads. It will be more strenuous to walk. You can choose to go down the mountain by yourself, and the scenery is also very good. In addition, the accommodation is very comfortable, with electric blankets, hot bath water, snow-capped mountains outside the window, you can see the stars at night, you can see the sunrise in the morning, and when there are many people, you can dance the Guozhuang dance together and listen to Luke playing the gourd. The folk customs in the village are simple, and the good customs of not picking up lost items on the road and not closing the door at night are still preserved.

As the highest inn in Tiger Leaping Gorge, the scenery on the mountain is very nice. If you have enough time, it is worth experiencing.

Incredible experience left this hotel on top of the mountain! In the very depths of the Tigris Gorge, this wonderful hostel with a wonderful host lurked. The owner of the hotel is very businesslike, but always helps guests with a transfer, and can also conduct an excursion to the mountains or to a waterfall. His wife is an excellent cook for the hotel guests, and in general one gets the impression as if visiting a grandmother in the village! Very quiet place, sincere atmosphere, gorgeous nature around and clean rooms. I recommend👍🏻
