Shangri-La Zemulong Inn (Dukezong Ancient City) Reviews

The hotel is well located, about 10 min walk from the ancient city. From the train station it’s possible to take a bus and walk for 10 minutes. It’s very quiet and peaceful, you can rest in the porch swing. The staff is really kind and friendly (speaks English), she even tried to help us find a restaurant. The room was exquisite, all in wood and really clean, with super cute night lamps and all the amenities needed. There’s a bathroom with shower and Turkish toilets. My favourite room of a 3 weeks trip, pity we stayed only one night !

The hotel location was excellent, accessible via didi and very short walk to the dukezhong ancient city (plus point for muslim travellers: very near to nice halal restaurants). The hosts and owner were very friendly and can speak very excellent english, so it’s easier to communicate for foreigners. They also provide recommendations for places to visit in Shangri-La and they can even help you to book the trips. The room that we booked was the ******* style and the room looked exactly the same as the pictures. Recommended to stay here for anyone visiting Shangri-La!

This place looks pretty dope, and location is accessible, near the east fate of dukezong. Overall good place to stay, got a free room upgrade as well thank you.

Our stay here was amazing! Nothing short of phenomenal. Michael (老板）greeted us upon arrival despite our train being late. He gave us many recommendations to make our time in Shangri-La really special. We went together to Napahai Valley, and later on we went to the ******* dining and entertainment experience which was fun and interesting. Our room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and the water was very hot. The location is also perfect, the hotel is only a 10 minute walk away from the centre of the ancient stone town. The kindness we experienced was the best in China so far, if you are a foreigner we recommend you stay here!

The Gesang flowers in the small courtyard are beautiful, and the swing is suitable for swinging... The wooden room inside is comfortable and tidy... I can sleep until dawn

A good experience. The hotel in Dukezong Ancient Town, Shangri-La is very convenient to various attractions in Shangri-La. If you need to hike, you can also contact the boss, who can lead the team. We walked to Abujicuo this time. The leader took photos on the way, and the team set out in small groups to ensure safety. If some equipment is not prepared, you can also borrow it from the boss. The boss is very good and has five-star praise!

Facilities: Very unique, the air conditioning is very hot, the hot water is very hot, and it is very comfortable. Environment: The skylight can be opened, you can lie on the bed for sunbathing during the day, and you can watch the moonlight at night, which is very interesting. Service: My friends and I came here for hiking. The store provides small groups. It was really fun to go out with the boss and tour guide. He took good care of us along the way, and he would always accompany and encourage us even if we were behind. The best thing is that he would record and take pictures along the way, and he made special photos. I strongly recommend it and give it five-star praise! The boss and the two young ladies are very nice and have a good attitude. The recommended attractions are also worth visiting. The service is very enthusiastic and the words are gentle. The recommended restaurants are also very delicious and very local. Come again next time!
