The driver on the way there drove very aggressively, overtaking all the way, and the driver on the way back was very good, driving very steadily and enthusiastic. The hotel has complete facilities and large rooms, but the front desk and other staff in the lobby are not very enthusiastic, always looking lazy. The hotel restaurant is delicious and not expensive, and the waiter is very enthusiastic. The Grand Canyon is beautiful, the Great Pagoda is also beautiful, the winding mountain road is quite scary, but the scenery is beautiful and shocking.

The hotel upgraded us to a large room with a balcony. You can watch the stars at night and watch the sunrise over Jinshan Mountain in the morning. The air conditioner in the room has heat and hot water for bathing. The breakfast is delicious. We live in the center of Shangri-La, and the hotel can arrange a pick-up to the city center. Balagzon is indeed worth a visit. It is recommended to stay at least one night to slowly experience the unique charm of Balagzon.

The same building with the entrance to the national park. The lobby is beside the counter tix. Yes u get free tix to the park. Just add 60Y for the shuttle tourist bus to go around the park. 2. The room and bathroom are very spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed. We have a very deep sleep after touring around in the day. 3. The host is really kind n helpful. The room is very clean and large, with floor heating. The location is easy to find. It is in the urban street and very close to the ancient city. It is very convenient to take a taxi. There is a supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping. There are restaurants nearby that are popular with local residents and the food is good.

There is a large parking lot, and it is very convenient to eat around. Because there are tour groups staying, I originally booked a room without breakfast. I asked the front desk and I can eat there. The room is not bad.

I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.
