The pickup and drop-off service was 100 points, a huge thank you to the hotel for providing such excellent service, especially during the busy May Day holiday. We got an upgrade to a higher room category, though all rooms are 45 sqm. On the 9th floor, there was a rhythmic mechanical sound that I heard late at night and in the early morning. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to ask if other floors have the same issue. I actually moved to the Indigo the next day to try that out. The room was clean and tidy, with traditional ethnic decor, and a ******* welcome gift, which instantly made me feel immersed in the local culture. Indeed, when you come to Shangri-La, you really must stay at the Shangri-La!
