Baixi Oriental Aesthetics Garden Homestay (The Mixc Longyan South Road Food Street)

Staying at this Song Dynasty-style aesthetic B&B was an absolute highlight of my trip! As soon as I arrived, I was captivated by the elegant Song-era charm emanating from the entrance. The interior landscaping is deeply evocative, with artfully arranged plants and greenery. Every corner of the B&B reflects the refined taste of Song Dynasty literati – it feels luxurious yet unpretentious, serene yet full of Zen. Just standing there, I could feel my mind and body settling down. What made it even more enchanting was the ambiance. Visually, the rooms are filled with poetic beauty; aurally, there's the delightful chirping of cicadas and the gentle trickle of spring water by the entrance; and olfactorily, a subtle, fresh scent of plants. This perfect fusion of sight, sound, and smell made me feel as if I had traveled back in time to a Song Dynasty scholar's retreat. This immersive experience of refined elegance was incredibly healing, washing away all my travel fatigue. After spending some time there, my heart was filled with peace – that's the unique charm of Song Dynasty aesthetics, I suppose. The service from the B&B staff was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. From the helpful reminders before check-in, to the detailed explanations upon arrival, and their prompt availability throughout my stay, every staff member had a genuine smile and was warm and professional. Whether I wanted a quiet corner for tea and reading, they patiently accommodated my requests, considering every detail to make me feel right at home, even in a foreign place. This hidden gem of a B&B truly deserves repeated visits!

I have to rave about the location of this oriental-style B&B! It's right in the bustling heart of the city, absolutely perfect for foodies. It's super close to Longyan South Road Food Street, just a short walk to a food paradise. I was a bit worried about noise from the busy area, especially after reading some reviews about it, but those concerns completely disappeared after checking in. My rest wasn't disturbed by the outside hustle and bustle at all. What's even more satisfying are the details of the B&B: the room hygiene was impeccable, the Song Dynasty-inspired interior design was incredibly soothing, and the staff were always responsive, friendly, and professional. This hidden gem combines both vibrancy and tranquility, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Shantou!

The Song Dynasty aesthetic design style is extremely elegant, and the service attitude is great. They offer free luggage storage, and breakfast is authentic Chaoshan rice noodles paired with a fragrant cup of coffee – truly a perfect start to the morning! The hotel is located on a main road in the city center, about a seven or eight-minute walk to the food street or MixC mall, so the location is quite good. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

This hotel is right by MixC, in the city center. Downstairs, there are plenty of places to eat, and across the street, you'll find lots of local food stalls. The beef and crab roe noodles are delicious, and there's also Qingqing Winter Melon Tea, Ruru Glutinous Rice Shop, Chee Cheong Fun, claypot congee, and a beef restaurant. It's just one intersection away from Longyan South, so it's not far. There are many shared bicycles right downstairs. I initially thought the reviews about loud KTV noise at night would be a problem and was quite worried, but surprisingly, I didn't hear a single sound. I slept very soundly. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable – I even overslept! I asked the front desk if I could buy the same pillows. Definitely a recommended place to stay.
