We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the Shantou railway station. The night prior, we stayed at a nearby Hampton but had a disappointing experience, so this was our first stay with a local Chinese chain brand.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, although no English was spoken at the front desk. We had requested a higher-floor, quieter room via WeChat in advance and were initially assigned Room 602. Upon entering, the room appeared clean and well-maintained.
However, we encountered an unusual and inconvenient issue with the Wi-Fi. Guests are instructed to turn on the TV to access the Wi-Fi password, but we discovered that the TV must remain on in order for the Wi-Fi to function. This was confirmed by multiple staff members, including what appeared to be a front desk supervisor. This setup was quite disruptive, as the TV screen is bright and cannot be dimmed, and the work desk is positioned directly in front of it.
To their credit, Ms. Lin—responded promptly and offered to move us to another room (also 602, but with a different layout). The new layout was more practical, with the desk positioned at a 90-degree angle from the TV, which helped mitigate the issue somewhat.
That said, the second room had its own drawback: there was a noticeable gap in the window, which allowed in road noise. Since we stayed over the weekend, traffic noise and honking were quite noticeable at night. In addition, we heard neighbors chatting and laughing past midnight.
Lotion could be a nice addition too. A small humidifier with scented oil definitely gave a zen touch.
Aside from these two issues (Wi-Fi dependency on the TV and sound insulation), the overall stay was comfortable. As a gesture of goodwill, the hotel provided complimentary breakfast. While we are not typically breakfast eaters, we did try the noodle station. The offerings were entirely Chinese-style. One suggestion would be to label the protein options more clearly (in Chinese or English), as we observed multiple guests asking staff about them—one of which turned out to be pig’s heart.
Overall, this was a good introduction to a Chinese domestic hotel brand. I learned that they got a few locations in Europe. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in technology setup and soundproofing, the service recovery effort and general room quality made for a satisfactory stay.

Guest UserThis Mid-Autumn Festival, I stayed in a Deep Sleep room at Atour Seeya Hotel in Shantou, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, right next to the MixC shopping mall. It's very convenient to get to Xiaogongyuan and Nan'ao Island, and taking a stroll in the evening was particularly pleasant.
I booked a Deep Sleep room, and the mattress was just right in terms of firmness. There were memory foam and down pillows to choose from. Combined with blackout curtains and a quiet air conditioner, I slept soundly until morning. The room's soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or the street. The bedside also offered a small aromatherapy diffuser, a steam eye mask, and a calming herbal tea, all with soothing scents.
Overall, the value for money is great. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shantou, especially recommending it to those who are light sleepers.

I stayed at the Lebai Hotel for three consecutive nights, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! ✨
The hotel is newly opened in 2026, and its retro-style exterior is super attractive, perfect for photos. It's located on Hengshan Road in Longhu District, making it very convenient for getting around, not far from Shantou Station. For those driving, there's free parking and charging piles, which is a big plus.
The room has a fresh air system, so it didn't feel stuffy at all during my three-day stay. Housekeeping was impeccable; the room was spotless every day. 🙊 Some items I left on the vanity were even neatly arranged by the cleaning staff – so thoughtful! ❤️
The overall environment is quiet and elegant, and my sleep quality was decent, though I did hear some noise from upstairs during the day.
The front desk service was attentive, and they responded quickly to my requests. There are plenty of dining options nearby, not far from various snack shops. Staying here makes exploring Shantou and its food scene super easy. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town!

KangxiaoqiaoAfter comparing several options for my Chaoshan trip, I ultimately chose this 'Fan Hua Zhu Meng' (Dream of Prosperity) suite, and I'm very satisfied with the overall experience. The guesthouse is located right in the heart of Xiaogongyuan (Small Park) area, making it incredibly convenient to explore the arcade buildings and visit attractions without having to rush back and forth. The room has a Nanyang retro style, perfect for photos. The one-bedroom, one-living room layout offers ample space, suitable for a small gathering with friends or for couples. The hygiene was meticulously maintained, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The facilities were also comprehensive. The owner was very genuine, quick to respond to any issues, and even recommended authentic local snacks. Being in an old arcade district, you get to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the old city without any noise in the room. The overall value for money is great. Friends who want an immersive experience exploring Xiaogongyuan should definitely consider this place. I'll prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Shantou.

AishuilanjuecsyThis hotel is hands down the best and most affordable one I've stayed at during my week in Shantou. First off, the location is super easy to find, right by the main road. Plus, parking is a breeze and it's free, which is a huge bonus for female drivers like me. The front desk lady even gave us two complimentary breakfasts! The room itself was brand new, the TV had screen mirroring, and the shower pressure was fantastic. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to hotels, but honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with this one. You can book it with your eyes closed. If I ever go back to Shantou, I'll definitely be staying here again.

Guest UserFirst, the pros:
The location is quite good, with direct sea views. The buildings in front are minimal and acceptable. Downstairs, there are plenty of shops, making dining, fast food, and pharmacies all very convenient.
Now, the cons:
1. The toilet area is extremely, extremely, extremely small, even smaller than a public restroom stall.
2. There's no front desk, which I can understand, but most hotels and B&Bs proactively communicate check-in procedures in advance. This place didn't send a single message.
3. After arriving at 12 PM, we were told we absolutely had to check in at 2 PM and couldn't get in any earlier. My parents and I were exhausted. They reluctantly told us the room was ready at 1:50 PM. It's clear they require check-out by 12 PM, yet they make guests wait until all rooms are cleaned before allowing check-in. There's no flexibility at all.
4. The complimentary 'restful sleep' drink was nowhere to be found, and neither was the Chaoshan Dancong tea.
Many people have already taken pictures of the room's view, so I'll share some photos of the downstairs area instead.

TravellingWallyNo regrets paying more for this beautiful homestay!
花多点钱住这里一点遗憾也没有!
My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room.
It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness.
Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside.
Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible.
Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need.
Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!!
All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

The location is close to several restaurants and shops however, the building itself is looks very old and shabby from the outside. Once you enter the room though it is very aesthetically pleasing while the all white aesthetic is hard to keep clean. The couch looked a little old and dirty when you look closely but in pictures everything looks nice.
There is a great cafe and steam bun place down the street for breakfast. It is a 10 minute walk to the harbor where you can walk and relax at night or stroll in the sun during the day.
It is a 10 minute drive to Zuimei Beach which was very convenient. From the bridge it is about 25 minute drive, located right in the middle of the island.
In general for the price we paid I felt it was totally worth it, the staff was nice, and they helped us park for free about a 5 minute walk down the street.
They had toothbrushes in the room but also had an area to get other amenities like mouth wash, hair ties, bug spray, etc. They also had water that you can help yourself to.
The best part? At the end of the night they delivered a bag with milk and heated eye masks before bed. This was unexpected and very cute. We would come again.

Guest UserThe room was incredibly clean and stylishly decorated. The service was so warm and welcoming, and they even arranged a special Shantou pastry-making experience for us. The breakfast spread was excellent, and being right next to a food street made dining super convenient. Since we had online classes, the hotel was incredibly understanding and extended our check-out time, which was really thoughtful. Next time I'm in Shantou, I'm definitely choosing this hotel again!

Exceptional Stay – Panorama Sea View
Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple.
The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay.
The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again.
The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive.
Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.
