Homeinn Plus Hotel (Shaoxing Renmin West Road Luxun's Hometown)

This hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of attractions like Lu Xun's Former Residence, Cangqiao Old Street, and the Calligraphy Master's Hometown. Public transport, including buses and subways, is also easily accessible, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hygiene was acceptable, and I didn't experience any discomfort. Besides complimentary bottled water, they also have a water purifier for drinking water, and the hotel even noted that the kettle was disinfected with vinegar. The bedding was quite comfortable. The business queen room, at about 16 square meters, was adequate for a one-night stay. The only minor drawbacks were that the windows didn't have screens, making ventilation difficult. Being on the south side facing the street, passing large vehicles in the morning disturbed my sleep. Also, one bedside lamp wasn't working, and the power button on the TV remote was faulty. Overall, for 180 RMB a night, it offers pretty good value for money.

Also, I'd suggest they add a toilet brush in the bathroom. The facilities are a bit old-fashioned. The room phone didn't work, and the TV remote was faulty. Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel, this one offers decent value for money.

The room was really dirty. I held the duvet up to the light and saw it was all yellow with some weird stains, which was disgusting. The curtains and everything else were covered in dust. The pictures of the room looked fine online, but when I asked for it to be cleaned, they said they only clean after check-out. How can your service be so bad? They won't even clean until after you've left. Finally, they must have seen how upset I was, because they said they'd do a quick clean. After breakfast, I went back in, and it had been tidied up, but they didn't restock the tissues or anything. Honestly, I'm speechless. This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel like this. As I was leaving, they even chased me for a good review, calling after me while I was on the phone.

The location is great, very convenient for getting around, and there's an underground parking garage. The facilities are a bit old, but quite clean. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. Surprisingly, they even have esports equipment! Good value for money, overall satisfied!
