Location is weird, doesn't feel like there's too much local. I was here for only the 2 days. Cannot fault the cleanliness or the facilities. The service was a little frustrating, having to pay extra to get access to my room earlier, then of course knowing that the room is already ready for me. The same could be found on check out.

The staffs are very friendly and always ready to help you. Very good location and a lot to do around the area. They have their beach access for hotel guests. For the price i think it’s quite worth it. Thanks Naama Blue!

The staff at this hotel make your stay extremely wonderful! I would have not enjoyed my stay if it wasn’t for this amazing group of hard workers! From Mina and Jan at front desk, to Eshak from the cleaning crew, he always used to leave me towel art and made sure every day I wasn’t missing anything. Kero at the bar pool by the beach is amazing, such a hard worker yet he always has a smile on his face, always remembered my drink and would make it as he sees me walking to the pool! Fares, Sayed and Nassef at the restaurant by the pool were incredible, always smiling and had the best service! They go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. Matta from the pool towels would always set up my towel in the exact spot he knew I liked every day! Tokka from the entertainment team was super kind and always encouraged people to join in the activities and if it wasn’t their thing he would just hang out with them for a bit and get to know the guests. The whole entertainment team was super friendly, and would never push anyone to do their activities. The rooms are nice and big, beach is wonderful as any beach in Sharm, however they’re dock to let you go in the water is actually very well done compared to other hotels in Sharm. Really like the fact that there was access to shallow water too. Food was good but very repetitive menu I found. Only negative I found was the distance of the rooms to the beach or reception depending where your room is. I was in building 18 by the beach, so to go up to the reception was tiring at times, however they do have shuttle buses every few minutes to help with that. Other thing I noticed is the higher management aren’t always very nice to the staff, the staff typically work over 12h if not more in the day and I saw instances where the GM was very mean to the staff because the owner of the hotel was coming. It felt like they were being treated like animals and not humans at times.

We spent a wonderful week at the Steigenberger Alcazar, on 24th February, Robert, Kim, Sue, and Ian, unfortunately, due to a slight flight delay arrived at the hotel around 9 pm we went straight into the Zohreya restaurant buffet which was still very well stocked with loads of hot choices of food, our waiter was very helpful, once fed we went to one of the nice cocktail bars for a couple of drinks, Finally went to our room around midnight, the room was extremely nice and very big, with two large queen size beds together, a huge bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower, Here comes the only negative to our holiday, our rooms 3104 and 3102 although both very close to the adult pool area, which is where we spent most of our holiday, both faced over the hotel next door, so our view was of the side of the adjacent hotel, and a noisy air conditioning unit above I would think a restaurant. On returning to our rooms at the end of the day to sit on the balcony it was very noisy. The hotel was only approx 40% capacity, so in this case, why not give all your guests the best possible rooms available, i.e. pool view or even sea view, the reason is to encourage them to come back and maybe pay for an upgraded room next time round, also word of mouth is the best possible advertising for a hotel. That is just a suggestion for the hotel. Now back to the many positives, breakfast at the buffet, Zohreya restaurant every morning our waiter would have our table ready, the same table in the sun as we liked that, 4 latte coffees and 4 OJ’s, breakfast, the choices were vast and amazing, the pastries I have never seen such choice, I have been to all-inclusive’ s in Europe Mexico and the Caribbean, this was the best for breakfast, choices of hot, cold, fruit, cereals, juices and hot drinks always being topped up. Pastry chef always there describing every one of his fabulous cakes Five al a-cart restaurants, Amoura Lebanese restaurant, overlooking the pool. Firstly we tried the Shisha while sipping on cocktails, and then we enjoyed a hearty meal with a hint of spices from all over the Middle East, Mr Hamid was extremely helpful in talking us through the menu. Hama restaurant, we were told to ask for Ahmed, he looked after us and recommended our meals for the evening, authentic Japanese offerings of sashimi, Tempura, Teppanyaki, and more. Fantastic, salmon, seabass, prawns, chicken rice, and noodles, truly amazing food. This restaurant also offers its show cooking Teppanyaki experience La Maison restaurant, has delicious food, but our least favourite. The ambience didn’t seem quite as good compared to all the other restaurants Sanafir Fish Restaurant and lunchtime beach bar, this was a favourite for us. beautiful on-the-table BBQ of a mixed selection of fish and seafood, along with cocktails and beer, and also wonderful fillet steaks. After my last visit in 2007, I read a lot of bad comments on this hotel. But don't believe the bad things you read! Excellent service! Excellent location! People are very friendly and do everything in their power to make your stay unforgettable. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned very well every single day! The food is good. Every meal has something for everyone. The chef's at the live coocking working hard to provide you a nice dish of their specialties. Whenever you have a request, if its at the reception, the pool or the restaurant, they help you in any way they can. We went out to Naama Bay a few times. Taxi service in the hotel. For only 10 euro they will bring you and pick you up again whenever you want. The beach is the best I ever had. Go into the sea at the jetties and you will find the most beautiful marine-life. Want to try diving? In the hotel is an excellent diving school. ANAR Dive Center. Bony and Jimmy, thank you for the great experience! Okey... not everything is glamourous! The singer in the evening could maybe expand his songs and sing-capabilities. The shops inside the resort did had their best years a long time ago. But you dont come to this hotel for the shops and the songs ;-) Amazing that, after 17 years the staff still remembered me! We did 3 sessions at the Spa but to be honest, thats a waste of money. They don't really know what they are doing... My wife's back was all blue and black and my back hurts for 3 days so better to avoid the SPA. To close my review, I want to recommend the Beauty salon!!! Alex did a wonderfull job on my wifes hair! She never had such a beatifull haircut as from Alex! We will return this September and all goes well, we will return twice a year.

It is an all-inclusive luxury hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh. It is very close to the airport. We have a 150-pound taxi. It is expensive and should be cut to 100. Advantages: 1. The layout of the suite rooms is reasonable, and the bathroom is especially comfortable and spacious. 2, the main restaurant is large enough, rich in variety, lunch, and dinner. Especially for dinner, the outdoor barbecue section has grilled shrimp and grilled fish. Indoor part of salmon, crab, green mussels, squid, all kinds of chicken, beef and mutton. There are no five-star hotels in Egypt that can do this. 3, the children's club is very large, both indoors and outdoors. There is also a small water park. 4, the resort covers a large area, the pool is also enough, no matter which building has a close swimming pool. 5, the evening show is superior in Egypt, the first half hour is to bring the children to dance. The latter is the official program. 6, the shuttle bus in the resort is more frequent, you must take the car at the point. Disadvantages: 1, all-inclusive hotel, three meals, beach, pool, drinks in the theater are free. However, several specialty restaurants such as Japanese restaurants, Turkish restaurants, Italian restaurants, etc. still need to make an appointment and pay. The animation team did an amazing job keeping us and the kids entertained throughout the holiday. From crazy water balloon pool parties to kids mini discos or knowing the kids are safe and happy at the kids club, we had a great time with the team!

Never been to Egypt before and due to costs we came here as it was an all inclusive deal and the temperature was better than the canaries for the time of year. The hotel is lovely, not too big and plenty of pool space for all, if not there are sister hotels less than 5 minute walk away which facilities you can also use, both are right by the sea for amazing coral swimming and views of amazing fish in pristine clear waters. One sister hotel also has an amazing Spa with excellent sauna jacuzzi and great massages on offer to relax you further whilst on your break. The rooms are a little dated, due to the current unstable economic climate but the staff here worked non stop carrying out maintenance to the hotel, guest areas and all it's grounds constantly during our stay in an effort to keep things neat and tidy which they certainly were. We had a.minor issue with our room and within the hour our issue was resolved by the excellent Guest Relations Manager Natalie and even the Hotel Manager spoke with us and assured us of the steps he would take to resolve things, which we cannot fault at all, to be honest amazing customer service and instantly too. Thank you. The food was an acquired taste but there was enough variety at each sitting and we always found something, the choice and variety must be difficult to manage to cater for guests from around the globe. The weather was certainly better than the canaries and the staff at all hotels made our mid winter summer mini break an unforgettable visit and we felt very safe and secure always at all hotels. To summarise yes it's a little dated but the work ethic and staffs positive lovely attitudes towards guests made this a place and hotel we shall definitely be returning to and would recommend it as opposed to the Canaries, cost and weather alone you'll be onto a winner.
