Charmillion Gardens Aquapark

The hotel is worth visiting. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. The garden is so green an beautiful. However, what I liked the most was the animation team (Freak Animation) and shows and games that they organized to entertain us. Great shout out to Desha and Momo ;)

Wonderful park area. Bungalow in cool style. The food is delicious and varied, everyone will find something to their liking. A bunch of different animation programs for children and adults. The hotel has everything you need so you don’t have to leave it.

Beautiful hotel spotlessly clean, such friendly staff can't do enough for you. Felt very safe the whole time of our trip. Excellent pools and aqua park for all. Really comfortable beds and room size. Fridge in room too. Highly recommend taking a dive trip with the on site red sea adventure diving centre. Chris is at the hotel to get you booked on.

This hotel was great, mainly because of the friendliness and charm of the staff. Especially Mr. Amr. His hospital was 5 star. He really made our stay special. Restaurant staff were amazing. Family room was spacious and clean. Entertainment could be improved by introducing an indoor dj till early hours of the morning. More quality drinks are needed for the all inclusive option. Mini bar should be replenished daily not just on arrival. Overall, good value for money.

We stayed here in May/June 2023 as a family. The hotel is conveniently located only a short taxi transfer from the airport. The main reception for the Charmillion Gardens is located in the Charmillion Sea Life. We were checked in by Mina who was fantastic. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The size of the rooms is great. Both rooms had aircon which was easy to use and worked well. The main buffet restaurant in Charmillion Gardens is where we ate most of our meals. There was a huge variety of food to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner; much of it cooked fresh while you were there. E.g. omelettes or eggs as preferred for breakfast, pizzas or chips for lunch, or BBQ in the evening (alternated between chicken or lamb). Plus loads of other choices! Staff and waiters all very friendly and good service. Always tables ready and no waiting. The hotel has a lovely water park. Lots of slides. Some with inflatables and some with mats. Plenty of both every day. Lifeguards very friendly and alert. They even let you take a waterproof camera on the slides if you want. All of the slides were open and working. The complex is made up of 3 hotels, Gardens, Sea Life and Club. The beach is closer to Sea Life and Club, however I was impressed that in only about a 10 minute walk you can be at a lovely beach with a pier to do amazing snorkelling from. There is a huge variety, quantity and colour of fish to see. The water is very clear. The snorkelling pier was open every day we were there. It also has a life guard, who works hard to keep an eye on the guests. For a couple hours each day if the current gets up then sensibly only one side of the reef is open to snorkel in. However there is a rope fixed across the reef which you can hold on to if you don't have flippers to snorkel with. The beach itself was longer than I imagined from looking at google maps, and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas to go around. The Egyptians have recently decided to implement daylight savings time again from May. This extra hour of light really helps in the late afternoon with snorkelling and the dark evening not being so early. The Gardens Hotel is the quieter of the 3 hotels. However if you want more activities the other 2 have the entertainment team for volley ball, aqua aerobics etc. All the hotels have a good sized pools and plenty of sunbeds. Beach towels are provided for free. There is the typical all inclusive evening entertainment in the Sea Life, i.e. mini-disco at 8.30pm and then a show at 9.30pm. The show was the usual fare of a dancer one night, then something involving the audience on stage the next, then a magician. It was nice to have something on if you wanted it. Some evenings also a singer in the bar. The rooms were cleaned well every day. The floor is swept, then mopped. Best Value for Money holiday I have ever booked. The hotel is undergoing massive renovations and although the room I was given had not yet been upgraded the rest of the hotel and staff made up for it. Hotel has an army of staff for cleaning / serving which means you never have to wait to get served and all hotel grounds are very well maintained. There is a huge variety of fish on the hotel’s private beach so if you like snorkelling you will have a great time. They also have a jetty and when the sea is calm you can snorkel for free next to a reef that falls 30 meter deep. It’s an amazing sight. If you experience any issues then I recommend you immediately bring it to the attention of staff as they were very good in handling all my issues/requests promptly. The entire hotel staff were absolutely amazing and this made the holiday much more enjoyable. They never ask for tips but I do recommend you take some change and tip staff given the quality of service they give! I also liked the fact that although I was staying in the Aqua gardens I could use the restaurants and bars of other two adjacent resorts at no extra cost. You get similar food in all of them but it’s nice for a change of atmosphere. My kids also loved the kids Disco as the animation team did a great job with the respect to entertaining the kids.

Stayed at the Charmillion Gardens Aqua Park Hotel with the family in October 2023. We arrived relatively late on our check-in day and were Greeted by Mina at the reception. The main reception is situated in the Charmillion Sealife Resort (which is literally opposite Charmillion Garden - about 50 steps away). Mina was very helpful during the check and explained things thoroughly regarding our stay. We were offered a late dinner at 11pm due to our check in time. We'd booked two family rooms, and were provided with exactly that. An added bonus was that they were connecting rooms which was perfect for our family. It is obvious that the the resort is regularly well maintained. During our stay, ALL staff were incredibly helpful and there to support and aid wherever necessary. Some mentions (there were many more) to: Ahmed from housekeeping (in Block 44**) was superb and demonstrated kindness at all times. He showed real integrity as returning some valuable items that we'd left in the room once we'd checked out. Mahmoud Farhat in the Garden Guest service went out of his way to help us. Mavdi from the shop situated behind the Sealife Reception was very helpful in the mobile queries we had. Mohammed Kamal and in the Lebanese restaurant did everything he could to make it a memorable experience for the children. Hossam was fab from the Japanese restaurant. Finally, Ahmed Khairy was an absolute gem. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was ok. From helping to make a reservation in arabic, to adhering to any requests we had. He and the other staff would constantly check-in with us to ensure our stay was going as perfectly as we'd want. In terms of the resort, we stayed at the Gardens. This had an awesome aqua park with around 9 thrilling slides. It also had a pool and a billiards table (chargeable). However, we were able to use either the gardens restaurant or the one opposite in the Sealife resort. Food was plentiful and full of variety. You get 1 or 2 A la Carte resturant visits during your stay, depending on the length of your stay.We chose lebanese and japanese, both fabulous. The beach is in the Sealife resort - about a 10 minute walk. The Spa is situated on the 3rd hotel (Club Aqua), around 10 walk from Gardens. We were kindly assisted with a buggy due to the makeup of our group. There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby areas of sealife and gardens. However, you can buy a sim for around $10 with enough data to last a week. Naama bay - the main centre is about a 15 minute taxi ride away. I found it cheaper booking taxis through *********** Excursions from the hotel are dearer then other local companies. The last day we were able to have a later check out, this was massively helpful. On the whole, we had an amazing experience. Thank you to all the staff. Our whole family loved the stay and we'd return again.

Currently staying at the Charmillion Gardens Aqua Park Hotel. A very good start to the holiday so far. I will be writing a more in depth review in due course.
