Ended up booking here last minute due to our holiday to Zanzibar being cancelled, so had few options and very little time to research, but luckily we struck gold! From the warm and efficient reception on arrival the exceptional service continued throughout our 2 week stay. We arrived very late and they had thoughtfully put sandwiches, cake and fruit in our room. Room: We had room 9205, a deluxe select room above the swim up rooms which was really well placed to get to everywhere in the resort. The room was huge with a big bathroom with separate loo and shower area. The balcony was really big with a nice view over the gardens down to the sea. The bed is the largest one we've ever slept in! We had an issue with the hot water one day, but one call to reception and it was fixed within minutes! Our room attendant, Zahar was excellent. He kept our room spotless and visited every evening to change our pool towels. If I had one niggle I would have liked the fridge to have been colder. Food: In the buffet restaurant there was a massive choice. Breakfast had hot options with beefy bacon, sausages, tomatoes, hash browns and freshly made crepes, smoothies, omelettes from the egg man etc. There was also a massive choice of cold options with cheeses (the various flavoured whipped fetas were delicious), cold meats, salad & cereals with loads of pastries and breads too. Lunch and dinner again had huge choices with fresh pizza, different hot options inc stews, KFC style fried chicken, various meats and fish cooked in front of you, freshly cooked burgers, soups, salads & great chips (just like chips shop chips)! The drinks service was excellent too. We were so well looked after by the fantastic Said throughout our stay. We only ate at the food court once for lunch and the food and service again was great. We just preferred to escape the heat & head to the air con during lunch. The American diner was quirky and great. Loved the cheeseburger soup and the very spicy buffalo wings. The Greek restaurant on the beach also had a great menu and super service. Loved the meze dips that you get at the start with the sesame bread. The Indian was very good. Dishes not quite as spicy as we are used to back in the UK (even the vindaloo), but everything was still very tasty and beautifully presented. We went to the Bamboo Asian restaurant once. Sadly I didn't have much of an appetite that night, but enjoyed the little I ate. We're not really in to entertainment that much, but the singer was very good. They had belly dancers, bingo and a magician too. Bars: We enjoyed all the bars. It was nice that they had an adult only bar. It's near the a la carte restaurants so popped in for a pre or post dinner drink or 2. The sports bar had a pool table & loads of screens, but showed limited sporting events. You could sit outside and watch the entertainment. Fantastic drinks service from barmen/waiters Mohammed and Mohammed. We were so well looked after. The terrace bar was the bigg
