There is one common room with kitchen and oven, you can prepare your breakfast here, the room is clean and stylish, with hot water showers, would stay here again.

Friendly, helpful staff; clean, spacious rooms, bathrooms were clean and the shower was hot, free breakfast was basic but a nice touch.

hi please check somewhere else Location if drive is ok .ibut not so difficult to go there by any public transport. I can not sleep too noise and strong smells no any facilities they have kitchen please don't touch because a lot people long stay here they have CCTV record if you mistake took some one good This is my bad experience stay a night

Overall my experience was okay with them. Dormety was not available when I booked the hotel.

It's a very unhappy experience for me. Because the man in the reception desk is a not honest for me.

There are free breakfasts like bread or cereal. You can use the kitchen to cook simple meal. The location is near tram station but located uphill. If you bring big baggage be careful of the slope. Rooms are basically clean but the shared facilities are used by all the guests. You can't expect they are always clean. Hosts are friendly that would help you when you need.

8 of us needed accommodation for a gig in Sheffield, and every other option was ridiculously expensive given the event. We booked a dorm room. After reading reviews we had very low expectations - but we were pleasantly surprised! The room was clean and so were the toilet facilities. Help yourself to cereal, tea, coffee, etc in the kitchen. The city centre also isn't too far away. I'd recommend staying here for the money paid, 100%!

Came here to warn anyone thinking of booking this hostel please don't! We paid £47 for a private room with shared bathroom. Upon arrival at 2.30pm the room was not ready (note check in from 2pm) the room was then hastily made up, no hoovering or surface cleaning. The mattress topper was covered in stains and the room smelt rank. The toilets were filthy with excrement all over one and the other not much better. There were unsavoury characters hanging about in the corridor that almost didn't want to let me through. We felt unsafe and that it was not hygienic so left and paid out another £68 for a room elsewhere (OYO can highly recommend for a little more money). This being a hostel of course we had a reasonable idea of what to expect and have stayed at other hostels which were clean and more secure. Upon leaving I registered a complaint with the booking agent and Russell Scott offered a 10% discount on our next stay to make up for the distress. Insulting offer and you could not pay me to return.

I stayed here whilst in Sheffield last month. Although it was cheap and cheerful it had everything I needed. It was clean and there was food available for breakfast which I did not expect. I got very chatty with one of the staff and he was brilliant to talk to. Would definitely use again if in Sheffield.

This hostel is filth. I had to stay here with a group for a weekend away and needing accommodation as a group to fit all budgets, this hostel was decided upon. I had reservations about staying in this hostel anyway so didn’t check reviews as I was not the one booking it and I didn’t want to dread the thought of going by reading them but now I wish I did. The hostel appears to be in a dodgy location at the top of a hill filled with undesirable sites, there was a homeless woman sleeping in her car outside the front in the morning, however we had seen her enter the hostel so she had access to the building. Room: When we got to the room it was very basic, lots of beds, one table and a chair, nothing else, as expected. The room smelt off, maybe mould and damp combined with poor cleaning, if any. I looked at the carpet and knew I couldn’t walk on it barefooted. The mattress was springy and noisey, the bottom sheet fabric was bubbling with questionable bits of lint, I dread to think of the condition of the bedding, but I didn’t want to investigate further as I knew I had to sleep in it. Thankfully I brought my own pillow. Bathrooms: The shower room itself appeared clean at 7pm however the floor was grotty and there was a fabric bath Matt on the floor for getting out the shower, again, this is disgusting to think about the feet that have been on it. I poked my head into the larger bathroom and the bin had a cluster of plasters on top of it and the toilet had urine in it, I tried to flush it thinking someone was just being lazy but the toilet was not flushing, it had broken (not blocked like the owners declared to us later on). We had a text prior to arriving about some bathrooms being out of order but no signs were placed up on the toilets or bathrooms so how would anyone know they are out of use. The single toilet smelt like a very filthy public bathroom, it was foul. By the morning this toilet wasn’t flushing either I was told. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable for a place of high occupancy to have no working facilities. Unwanted guest: I returned at 2am with another person and to our horror we found a man fully clothed with shoes on, asleep on one of our beds!!! He did not wake and we did not plan on waking him, we went out our room and had management called regarding this. A member of staff appeared and asked the man to leave to which he put up no fight and smiled at us as he left. He appeared clean however the member of staff informed us “he’s been a problem to us for a while, we will deal with him”. I am disgusted that someone who’s been a “problem” knew the codes to our room and the hostel and had been asleep in our room with our belongings in it! We had booked all the beds, this was not acceptable. I struggled to sleep after this as I feared who else could just wander on in, we asked for the key pin lock to be changed to our room but the staff could only change the front door code as he did not know the master lock. I was ready

We have been here before when we go to a music festival in the city centre. Last time was an amazing experience. Unfortunately this time I cannot say the same. Look at the photos I have attached. First of all we were not told until arrival that we had to pay a £30 deposit (this should have been mentioned at time of booking). Secondly, there were face masks and filth all down the side of my bed. (The had to come remove them). There was only one lightbulb in the light fittings so seeing at night was quite difficult. I was having a shower in the morning and the shower head holder fell off the wall and hit me in the face. The dust and cobwebs were everywhere and black mold on the ceiling in the shower room. Upon check out I always ***** the beds and clean the room but when I did there was 100s of urine stains on the mattress I had slept on. And my son's was the same. The carpet looked like it had been used as toilet roll with dirty brown marks all over it. I have emailed and given them a chance to reply but nothing as yet.

The hostel was absolutely disgusting we booked a room for 9 adults and found a random guy in one of our beds the showers where disgusting looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all the toilets where blocked and smelt awful the service we record was absolutely disgusting the beds weren’t comfy at all never staying here again absolutely disappointed and disgusted
