Good location in the city center, convenient for shopping and leisure. The concierge took the initiative to help with luggage and was polite. The service attitude at the front desk was good. The front desk manager Sunny welcomed me warmly and proactively gave me some very good suggestions about what to eat, drink and have fun in Shenyang. Every time I come to Shenyang, I will stay in your hotel because the hotel has a good location. It is only a few minutes walk to Shenyang Station. The rooms are very clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable, especially Aunt Dong from 6268 who cleans the room every time. The maid folded my clothes for me. Her voice was a little ho**** when I spoke. She also added a few more bottles of water and asked me to drink more hot water. Her words and deeds were as amiable as a family member. The hotel also had a turndown service. I can fall asleep immediately when I come back at night. The curtains are drawn for me, and there is a robot that can deliver things directly to my door. The hotel's service is very considerate, and it truly achieves refined management and provides thoughtful service to the guests. Great experience; appreciate the warm hospitality from everyone, from concierge to front office, housekeeping to restaurant and lounge. Also loved the stunning bird’s eye view of Shenyang and the cozy night view in the evening!! Only one slight disappointment: the hotel doesn’t have any international sockets (albeit being an international brand - not sure if that’s the norm in China though). Plus-point was when the call centre staff took the initiative to send their concierge member to buy an adapter for me when I called them and was told that they didn’t have any adapters available in the hotel at that point in time to lend me. Really appreciated the initiative. Though the concierge member brought the wrong type of adapter (China to UK instead UK to China - thought that should be at least commonsensical for someone working in an international brand); and he was slightly unpleasant to deal with when he demanded for payment for the adaptor even though the wrong type was bought. He was also hesitant to escalate the issue to the duty manager at first until I really insisted. Duty manager resolved the issue seamlessly, took the initiative to bring one from their office and sent all the way to my room - again appreciate it. Overall, great environment and professional but warm hospitality. All other concierge members were also extremely helpful! Jacky also took initiative to send me a GPS location of the nearby police post when I needed to settle some documents there.

I made an appointment with my friend to watch the game on weekends from other places and help my friend book a room. I have a place to live in the local area. On Friday, I stayed at the B&B hotel in the Olympic Sports Center. The price was lower than here, and the environment was not a star and a half. Jody at the front desk was professional and friendly. The bathtub was the best thing about our stay and the fact that it's pet friendly. The breakfast is advertised as ”International” but nothing is even remotely on an international standard, bland, mediocre and poorly managed. It is listed as RMB85 but is more in a RMB30-40 range. The restaurant staff is not professional. They should be able to help guests that aren't on the prepaid list without making a scene. Using the spa facilities was a bit of a mission. You have to phone reception and then they send a staff member to the spa desk. Everything is turned off so it takes a while to heat up. The jacuzzi was a bit cold and not that enjoyable. The sauna was awesome. Only one elevator was working (out of three) so expect to wait between 5 and 10 minutes each time.

I selected home Inn again instead of the nearest hotel to the rail station because I treated the quality. The room is very clean, only flaw is the window is high and the side table in room 1302 is scratched. Love the reception area and the ladies who served me. There's a coffee place behind the reception as well and the service is excellent. Feel free to buy morning coffee from them. It's walking distance to both Taiyuan metro station & Shenyang station. There's a massage place and a 串串restaurant near by. The prices are good and portions are huge!
