This is my second stay at Wutong Village! On my first visit, I missed out on the eco-pool, didn't get to cook (what a waste of such a well-equipped kitchen!), and the eco-supermarket wasn't open yet. So, I returned for a second stay, eager to tick all those boxes!
I love going on staycations with my dog, and I've pretty much explored all the pet-friendly hotels and B&Bs in Shenzhen. All things considered, Wutong Village is definitely my dog's and my top pick – we truly enjoy it here!
**Facilities:** I absolutely adore the room's layout – it's spacious, minimalist, and beautifully integrated with nature. The kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, and air conditioning units are all from highly reputable brands. Oh, and the dining chairs are incredibly comfortable!
**Hygiene:** It's incredibly clean, with no unpleasant odors. Even though it's a pet-friendly hotel, they do charge a cleaning fee which is used for thorough cleaning and disinfection after guests check out. So, anyone who is a stickler for cleanliness can rest assured! I tend to leave any smelly trash outside my door, and the cleaning staff always collect it promptly. 👍
**Ambiance:** From the organic fresh produce at the supermarket and the distinctive eco-pool to the occasional cultural markets and excellent pet-friendly amenities, Wutong Village truly caters to everyone – foodies, art lovers, pet parents, and families with kids alike!
**Service:** The staff are incredibly professional. They patiently listen and make note of any feedback. We even received a complimentary upgrade to a higher-floor room, subject to availability. Every staff member we met throughout the resort was so friendly, it truly felt like home!
P.S. The Hainanese Chicken Rice at the eco-supermarket is incredibly delicious – Hainanese-approved! 👍
I'm already planning my third visit to check out their vegetarian restaurant and fitness classes! 😆
