The high-ceilinged atrium, with its arcades and lush greenery, created an 'aerial garden' that perfectly captured the essence of Lingnan without feeling old-fashioned – the aesthetics are truly on point. This stay, Hotel Manager Alice specially prepared a welcome gift, complete with fresh fruit, desserts, and red wine. Sipping a drink while gazing at the magnificent view outside the window, I really appreciated feeling so valued. This is my favorite Shangri-La I've ever stayed in; it's incredibly fresh and beautiful, like a pure, classic fairy tale princess. The entire hotel is a massive work of art, with beauty in every corner. Before booking, I was worried the room might be too small, but upon checking in, I found the size to be just right—spacious yet restrained, providing a comfortable sense of security. Breakfast and the mini-bar could use improvement, as there weren't enough healthy options. The mini-bar had very few natural mineral water bottles, and to my surprise, the soy milk at breakfast was sweetened by default. As for the yogurt and cold oatmeal, I was shocked to see the chef adding cheap, large tubs of flavored yogurt from the supermarket into the bowls. Shouldn't it be handmade, unsweetened yogurt? Plus, the cold oatmeal was very watery, thin, and lacked fruit, nuts, or dried fruit, making it taste cheap.

The room on the 73rd floor offered an unparalleled view of the 'Spring Bamboo' building. What a luxurious gem! The 66th-floor Sky Lobby at Shangri-La Shenzhen Nanshan features a Lingnan garden-inspired design that's incredibly picturesque – every photo op is stunning. We stayed in a Horizon Club Bay View room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay. On a clear day, you can even spot Hong Kong, and the city lights at night are absolutely mesmerizing and so therapeutic. The bedding quality was superb, making for a perfect night's sleep. The Executive Lounge offerings were indeed excellent, and breakfast was delicious too. The hotel staff provided outstanding service, especially Nico. She contacted us a day before check-in to inquire about our needs, thoughtfully preparing small toys and toiletries for our child. She even helped arrange a late check-out when our little one was asleep. Our entire stay was fantastic! It's definitely our top choice for a staycation. Thumbs up! 👍
