Shangri-La Nanshan, Shenzhen

The day before I checked in, the hotel manager, Wendy, called me to ask about my needs for the stay and sent me the executive lounge benefits and timings, which I really appreciated! This time, I stayed in the 270° Executive Bay View Sunset Suite. The 270° floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views of Shenzhen Bay, the Hong Kong skyline, the Shahe Golf Course, the 'Spring Bamboo' building, and the sunset. The hotel's breakfast and the executive lounge's food selection were both excellent. Shangri-La Shenzhen Nanshan is perfect for a relaxing getaway, with beautiful views for photos, a rich dining experience, and great spots for social media-worthy pictures. Highly recommended!

Crystal, our butler, was incredibly thoughtful and even prepared children's amenities for us. They also specially arranged a twin room where the beds could be pushed together. I've stayed at Shangri-La hotels in Shanghai and Guangzhou before, but this one in Nanshan, Shenzhen, offered the best experience by far. The staff at the buffet restaurant were also very professional. Breakfast was excellent – I highly recommend trying their homemade granola.

The hotel is situated on high ground, offering beautiful surrounding views. The cleanliness and facilities are excellent. They even thoughtfully mailed back an item I left behind. The executive lounge provides a wide variety of food, and the taste is just right. The pool water is clean, which is a big plus.

They didn't provide welcome fruit upon arrival. Also, cleaning and vacuuming in the hallway starting around 9 AM, disturbing guests – what kind of operation is that? The underground parking garage is a bit inconvenient; the signs in the garage aren't very eye-catching and are easy to miss. I thought a high-end hotel like this would use real flowers for their lobby arrangements, but I found out many were artificial.

This hotel, opened in 2026, boasts a more youthful and design-centric decor compared to older establishments. The facilities and cleanliness are remarkably new and spotless. And seriously, don't skip breakfast! It's incredibly diverse, offering both Western and Chinese options. As Chinese guests, we just wish there were a few more Chinese dishes, haha!

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel's decor is upscale and stylish. The breakfast, pool, and bedding were all excellent. Nico, Alice, and Wendy provided very attentive service and guidance. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.

This new-generation high-rise hotel is right next to Shenzhen Bay, making it super convenient for a run or a visit to Happy Valley. Its biggest draws are its trendy design, incredible views, and excellent dining. The breakfast buffet is widely recognized as one of Shenzhen's best – the congee, Eggs Benedict, and fresh young coconut are all fantastic. The swimming pool is incredibly comfortable and even has hot spring pools, which is just amazing! Overall, the staff are friendly, professional, and proactive in resolving any issues.
