The location is excellent, right outside Metro Exit B, which is incredibly convenient. Having opened in 2024, the hotel is very new. The facilities, equipment, and detailed layout clearly reflect modern aesthetics and new design concepts. The TV also supports screen casting, and once you connect it, it stays linked every day without needing to scan a QR code repeatedly. Housekeeping is thorough; they change the bedsheets, pillowcases, and other linens daily.
I was upgraded to a city-view king room on a higher floor. My neighbors were quiet, though I could sometimes hear Didi (ride-hailing) noises from downstairs. The room size is quite generous for land-scarce Shenzhen, offering a very comfortable stay that justifies the price. The super king bed felt like it could accommodate four people. There's also a sofa by the floor-to-ceiling window, perfect for enjoying the city night view, making it especially cozy and relaxing. The bathroom is also spacious enough, with a simple yet aesthetically pleasing color scheme. The placement of hangers and the full-length mirror shows thoughtful consideration. There's ample storage space, a flexible stool for makeup, hair drying, or eating, and a small sofa near the TV for lounging. The bedside tables are no longer traditional (which means I can't easily grab my phone at night ==), demonstrating the new hotel's ingenious use of space and modern, progressive design details.
The room also has plenty of outlets, definitely satisfying the needs of tech enthusiasts for charging multiple devices. The most notably friendly feature is a functional alarm clock with wireless charging, which isn't just a flashy electronic decoration. Some budget hotels, B&Bs, and even high-end ones like the 'Conrad-like' ones love to boast about 'smart home' features, which are often just electric curtains. These have very low utilization and don't really scream 'tech-savvy'—who constantly opens and closes curtains throughout the day anyway?
The hotel's dining options and room service robots are standard. There's a 24-hour gym and laundry facilities. The lobby still features their signature fragrance. The building's public spaces are elegantly designed and comfortable, clearly new and uplifting. The only minor drawback is that the pool is closed in winter... I came for the trendy pool, only to bring my swimsuit for nothing!
I've stayed in various hotels, B&Bs, and other properties within the same hotel group across the country, and this one is exceptionally satisfying in all aspects. It offers great value for money and significantly enhanced my Shenzhen trip. I would highly recommend it to friends.
