JIYU HOTEL (Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center)

The room was spotless, and the bathroom and appliances were all well-equipped and functional. The surrounding area had everything you could ask for, including shopping malls and night markets. Plus, the receptionist, Luo, had a great attitude.

Warm light spills into the corridor, dotted with greenery. The facilities are complete, and the subway downstairs goes directly to commercial areas and night markets. The front desk staff, K, was friendly.

The public areas have soft lighting and excellent facilities. It's easy to explore nearby malls and night markets via the subway.

I've stayed here 3 times now, and this place is seriously clean and very thoughtful. The bathtub comes with disposable liners and bath salts, and the toilet has disposable seat covers. When I checked in at night, the front desk staff, K, was very friendly. The hotel is right above a subway station, and shopping at the supermarket is convenient. The abundance of greenery throughout the hotel really helps to relieve fatigue. The only downsides were that the smart speaker (Xiaodu) was broken and unusable when I checked in, and the tech staff might have already left, so it couldn't be replaced. Also, when calling to remind guests about check-out, they could phrase it differently instead of immediately saying there's a charge for being overdue. I was only 7 minutes late, not 70 minutes. They could have easily asked if I wanted to extend my stay.

The room was very spacious, the facilities were excellent, and the hygiene was top-notch.

The environment was just okay, but the room itself was quite spacious. My only complaint is that it wasn't suitable for working – the small table was the same height as the sofa.
