Shanye Youganwan Secluded Resort Hotel

This time we stayed in a two-bedroom, one-living room suite with a private pool. The pool filled up quickly and was clean and hygienic. The room's cleanliness was also quite good. The staff were very attentive and always greeted us with a smile. The restaurant food was delicious and offered great value for money. The outdoor pool was heated; although not large, it was very comfortable. The beach sand was fine, soft, white, and spotless. The yacht experience was excellent, not crowded at all, and very fulfilling! The hotel itself is large with a very cohesive color scheme. We even got to make shell wind chimes this time. All in all, everything was wonderful, and I look forward to coming back again.

💙 I never knew Shenzhen had such pristine, glass-clear waters! 🌤️ 🌈 This is the hotel's private beach. It's quite secluded with no commercial areas nearby, and the drive in involves about half an hour on a somewhat winding mountain road, so self-driving is definitely recommended. 💕 However, the hotel facilities are comprehensive, offering Chinese and Western restaurants, a bar, KTV, gym, and tea room. There's even a 7-Eleven convenience store. ————————————————————— ☀️ The hotel's public areas are incredibly photogenic. 🍜 The food is genuinely affordable! Since you can't order takeout at all from the surroundings, having both Western and Chinese food options is great, and the prices are truly amazing! Who can imagine that in a big city like Shenzhen, at a hotel like this, a can of Coke is ¥2, fried rice is ¥25, and fresh juice 🍹 is ¥8... It's incredibly good value, delicious, and budget-friendly! The soft drinks are especially good. ————————————————————— There's a gym (with decent equipment), a library, a children's play area, and KTV (I haven't been inside these three, so I can't comment). In the evenings, there's live singing, bonfires, and fireworks. ☀️ The environment, needless to say, is very picturesque. When I was there, there weren't any 'influencer' photoshoots happening, and the staff were quite particular about pool hygiene, requiring guests to rinse off sand before entering the pool. 🌈 Overall satisfaction: 4 stars. The missing star is due to the many stairs and too many insects. ❌❌ The cleanliness was just average; there were even melon seed shells left by the previous guest in the room ಥ_ಥ It's suitable for couples and families, and a stay of 2-3 days would be quite enjoyable.

It was totally worth the three-hour drive to get here! We came right after the May Day holiday to avoid the crowds and were lucky enough to have two days of beautiful weather. The sea looked different at various times of the day, and the beach was clean, quiet, and not too crowded. Both restaurants offered great value for money – sparkling water for 9 yuan, cocktails around 20 yuan, and we spent less than 100 yuan per person per meal. The hotel activities were fantastic too; the sound bath healing was beyond expectations, and the spa was painful but in a good way! We booked the Xingpu room, which is high up and offers amazing views. The ocean-facing soaking tub was absolutely delightful. The only downside was all the stairs we had to climb, so next time I'd like to try a beachfront room. The only real con was the incredibly steep mountain road we took to get here, it felt like a rollercoaster.

Getting there is quite a trek, and the mountain roads are bumpy! It might be inconvenient without a car. Plus, the recreational activities involve hiking up mountains! Not suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility issues (and indeed, I only saw young to middle-aged people here). 2. **Service could be better**: The overall service felt a bit lacking. Whether it was the front desk or other staff members, I encountered some unprofessionalism – the whole vibe felt quite casual. After booking, no one reached out beforehand with check-in details; I had to proactively seek them out. Also, some of the contact numbers provided didn't work. Many activities require reservations, and if you don't book in advance, you can't enjoy the service! 3. **Everything is rather compact**: The beach, the rooms, and all the facilities are quite small – it's designed for an intimate, less crowded experience. It's not ideal for extended stays; after one night, it gets boring as there aren't many activities (unless you’re specifically seeking 'seclusion'). Now for the pros: 1. **Excellent design and aesthetics**: Great for photos! 2. **Facilities are decent**. 3. **The biggest plus! The food is delicious and affordable**: It felt more like dining at a specialty restaurant than a hotel… Overall impression: Quite satisfied, took many, many photos! 👏🤣

This hotel is an absolute hidden gem! My room faced the ocean directly, and opening the window revealed a truly therapeutic sea view. The private hot tub in the courtyard created such a fantastic ambiance. The triangular building in the common area is incredibly photogenic. The service was thoughtful and attentive. Just lying here, listening to the sound of the waves, helped me completely unwind. It was a truly rejuvenating vacation experience.

Opening your door reveals an unobstructed 'glass sea' view that is absolutely breathtaking. The room was clean and tidy, and the attention to detail was impeccable. The butler team provided professional and attentive service, always available when needed and proactively assisting with luggage.

Amazing! We'll definitely be back. The environment was so comfortable, the staff were lovely, and the restaurant food was delicious. We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, and they even did a little decoration. My boyfriend and I were both very happy.

Breakfast restaurant was very good, and the à la carte dinner was also affordable and tasty, with fresh ingredients. Environment: Great environment, feels secluded from the world.

The room had absolutely everything we needed, even laundry detergent for delicates, mosquito spray, and toilet seat covers – so thoughtful! The butler service was also very prompt. Extremely satisfied!
