I traveled to Shenzhen from Hong Kong. After checking several hotels near the border checkpoint, I settled on Meilun Hotel. The lobby is on the ground floor. It was scorching hot outdoors, but as soon as we walked in, the nice cool air instantly refreshed us.
Staff members noticed we were loaded down with luggage and rushed over to assist us. They spoke in a friendly, mild manner. While completing check-in, they handed us complimentary tea and asked whether we needed help linking up to the Wi-Fi, which requires a mobile number for login. We had booked buffet breakfast, and the staff clearly told us the serving hours and venue, then gave us two breakfast coupons.
Our room was really spacious with a big TV. The pillows were incredibly soft, and the bathroom had a dry and wet separated shower zone. The air conditioner worked perfectly and kept the room nice and cool.
The hotel has an excellent location within easy walking distance of Grand Theater Metro Station. MixC and KKMall are just around the corner, making shopping super convenient.
The service is full of thoughtful little touches. I had an amazing stay overall, and it offers far better value for money than other nearby hotels. I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit!
