Xiangmei Hotel (Shenzhen Shangbao Road)

They kicked us out before 2 PM, even though my booking clearly stated check-in was before 3 PM! Plus, the room had a strange odor.

The room is clean, the environment is elegant, and it's relatively quiet.

The rooms are fully equipped and offer free laundry and drying services. Free parking is available.

It's next to the library. I've lived nearby for years and am used to the area. The facilities are good, and the surrounding area is well-equipped. There are plenty of restaurants, and the subway station is close, as is Lotus Hill.

This is my first bad review, absolutely avoid it! As soon as you enter the room, you have to carry your luggage up a staircase to the second floor. When checking in, the 187 yuan price tag told me there were no windows, and I had to pay an extra 30 yuan to get one. Then, I was shocked! The whole room reeked of formaldehyde, paint, and dust, and my rhinitis immediately flared up. I opened the window I paid for, and outside was a shabby house under renovation—yes, two rooms connected together! I turned on the bathroom exhaust fan to get rid of the odor, but the second it turned on, the stench was so intense it made me cringe! Water was dripping from the ceiling above the bed! I had just arrived in Shenzhen, and I was so exhausted from carrying so much luggage, and it was raining heavily that I could barely make it through one night. This hotel is truly unlucky for anyone who stays there!
