Little Hakka Hotel

We loved this hotel, speacially the location because is right in front of the little Hakka show, the hotel is exactly like the descriptions, kids loved the slide with the bed, they don’t want to come out. Around has a lot of things to see like little Hakka experience room to feed small animals, and outside can feed the fishes. The breakfast you have to go to another hotel about 3 mins walking and is quite poor. We arrived at 9:20 am supposed to finish at 10:00 but 95% of breakfast done. Don’t have anything to eat. All are empty and the drinks also. No one come to hep you and saw many people coming and complaining. Otherwise all the things around are good. And you have to pay for the shows and all other things to play.

Quaint, simple hotel. A little rundown, but considering its at the "Ancient city" it adds to the atmosphere. Kids enjoyed the slide in the room, huge room with 2 separate bedrooms, each with its own bathtub/shower, with living room connecting the two rooms. ******* drivers were able to deliver straight to the room. Breakfast was... very simple ( noodles, veggie, sausage , tea/boiled eggs, buns, congee, fruit) and at a separate sister hotel. Rooms could be cleaned a little better, both kids socks and clothes were black while walking on the floor, and overall walls could do some cleaning or renovating. However very happy to say... beds were clean, no bedbugs!!! Music from the show next door was a bit loud but they closed at 9pm, and we managed to sneak a look from balcony..Overall satisfied especially since location wise it is INSIDE the Ancient City site.

We booked this hotel as it can cater for both my mum and my 3 year old boy. My mum wanted to visit Nantou Ancient Town and the room has children facilities which are suitable for my son. My son loved playing on the slide and drawing on the blackboard in the room. He also loved having a sink for his height level and taking baths in the large bathtub. Though the hotel is at the far end of the town, they would arrange pick up and drop off so we didn’t have to drag our luggage so far.
