The Langham, Shenzhen

The room facilities were very complete and stylish, with a design I really liked. The hotel service was very enthusiastic, and the transportation was very convenient, located in Shenzhen's best Futian district, with lots of food options nearby. It was super convenient.

The hotel is right near my home. I just got back from the Americas, and I had already communicated my check-in time with the hotel beforehand, so I didn't have to deal with jet lag. That was really nice. I remember when I was little, my friends and I used to have afternoon tea at Langham – it's been a long time! Lynn and Livy were both great staff members.

The hygiene was absolutely terrible. After running water in the bathtub, there was debris floating around, and the shower had a foul odor, plus the drain seemed to be broken (see picture). I definitely won't choose this hotel again in the future. Also, the weighing scale had no battery and was just there for show.

Coincidentally, a typhoon hit, and my original plan was to travel to areas around Shenzhen for the weekend. Due to the typhoon and high-speed rail cancellations, I had to change my plans and opted for a staycation in Shenzhen. I was drawn to THE LANGHAM's unique British charm, and after much deliberation, I chose this hotel. Although it's been open for a while, I was a bit worried the facilities might be outdated. However, comparing it to the most beautiful lounges in London, I impulsively booked an executive room. Upon arrival, a small hiccup delayed my check-in. Afterward, a thoughtful male staff member at the front desk noticed and guided us to the executive lounge on the 22nd floor to check in. There, Peter, who assisted us, was incredibly warm and demonstrated the professionalism expected of high-end hotel staff. He thoughtfully asked about our preferences and led us to a comfortable spot in the lounge. Throughout our time, the lounge staff — Emily, Via, Yulia, and Caron — also showcased what a 'most beautiful lounge' should be, with attentive service and impeccable attire. The variety of drinks and other offerings in the lounge was extensive; we basically didn't want to leave. Stepping into the room, a strong British ambiance immediately enveloped us, truly reflecting the brand's unique character. The room offered panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay through its 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing us to experience the city's vibrancy even from bed. The hotel breakfast was also rich and varied; I tried the beef noodles, which were excellent, and the desserts were a big plus. Thanks to the professional service and the brand's distinctive style, I felt the joy of a vacation without even leaving Shenzhen. THE LANGHAM is truly worth it!

My overall experience at The Langham Shenzhen was excellent. The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, and the rooms are clean and comfortable with complete facilities. I especially want to commend the staff; their service was attentive and thoughtful, and they were very responsive throughout my stay. A special thank you to Yulia and Sylvia Liu, who were both incredibly kind and patient, and handled all my requests professionally and smoothly. They made me feel very comfortable and significantly enhanced my stay. Highly recommended!

For business travelers frequently visiting Shenzhen, The Langham is always the top choice. Its location and ambiance are excellent, the service is very international, and the price is reasonable. David at the front desk was incredibly patient during my check-in, demonstrating The Langham's consistent high standard of service.

Booked this hotel for my girlfriend's birthday, and they upgraded us to a suite! The room had two bathrooms, and the fridge was huge with a freezer compartment, perfect for storing the cake.

Had a fantastic staycation! I didn't even leave the hotel once, completely immersed in the pink bubbly atmosphere. 🥰🥰 The elegant and grand rooms and lounge had an unbeatable, noble, and refined ambiance. My only slight disappointment was that the lounge quality seemed to have dipped a bit; they no longer had the chocolate buffet or latte art. However, I must commend the lounge staff for their proactive response when I raised the issue 👍. The freshly made ramen and rice rolls at breakfast were absolutely amazing!

The kids loved it! It was comfortable to stay in, very convenient for transport, and the room was great too.
